  3. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/5541426057.html I'm expecting a baby and the wife wants a van, time to let this go Forum members and just throw pricing at me since I really don't know what the going price for these things are any longer, the cars been in the garage on jack stands since these photo's were taken and I have not since done anything to the car besides clean up the gas tank and cleared up the gas line, changed the fuel pump, radiator is original to my knowledge and is a Behr unit and redone, new master cylinder, new battery is probably now dead. Car used to run, needs a new slave now... Thank you ladies and gentlemen for the invaluable knowledge and wealth of information on this board, I will continue to frequent here, just life and a new baby takes precendence over this one, there are other vehicles that I need to sell also besides this one...

  7. I didn't do anything, finals are coming up and so I've left the battery on a tender...I'll update after finals are over. Thanks Luis. Ken
  8. Was the customer being stingy with funds? The reason why i ask is because the engine bay wasn't cleared and well as the underbody, lots of overspray underneath...just curious and not flaming or talking down about your work. Regards, Ken Also curious, did you media blast the metal before the bodywork? Or just left the old paint and worked the new paint/primer over it?
  9. Thanks Tom. Luis, I'm not used to how weak/strong a 6 volt system is compared to a 12, however, compared to the cranking power of the old battery, there isn't much difference with cranking power with the new interstate 19L battery. As per the starter, i have not looked into it yet. Thanks for pointing that out. Ken
  10. Ive searched the forum to no avail; my question is, does anyone have any knowledge of manufacturers that produce a 6 volt lithium ion or dry cell, preferably lithium ion. I ask this because my interstate 19L for my Ti doesnt seem like its cutting it. My motorcycle battery was in the same situation and i replaced it with a lithium ion and the cranking was a lot stronger. I've searched the net but I'm not sure of the proper keywords to use. Can anyone shed some light on this question? Thank you Ken

  16. So i've resolved this little dillemma... 1_rolled down the window 2_removed the "safety" pull stop / door lock / lock pull 3_coat hanger and pliers at the lowest possible part of the lock pull....pull up on the lock pull as you're using the coat hanger to help with the stuck lock my "safety lock" wasn't engaging all the way to the door handle...years of dirt I suppose....therefore I couldn't unlock the darn thing, so what i did was open the other door panel / card up on the other side and took a gander and realized that I can make a slight hook with a coat hanger and help the door lock disengage....on the other side...took a little bit of doing 10 minutes later and two wire coat hangers later, the darn thing fully unlocked and I was gleeming from ear to ear....I thought the door was rusted shut and was feeling hopeless...but things worked out in the end! good luck with your doors! Ken
  17. Steve, Your car is beautiful! It actually puts a smile on my face just to see another NK saved from the scrap yard...It actually puts a smile on my face when I work on my car lol....kinda like a kid that gets new toys I suppose...I'm working on my brake and clutch system myself....hopefully I won't have to tackle the transmission...scared of that..but it is what it is...if you need tools, harbor freight sells em cheap enough that you can use them a few times and throw them away if its not something you need to use consistently...GOOD LUCK with your endeavors, I thank this board and Tom and Neil and others for their knowledge and experience! Ken
