  1. That is very helpful. I think I need a color code card from a 1975 so it will simplify these terminal installs.
  2. Harness is a 1975. No idea from what car or what state the harness cane from. My car is a 1970. Car was taken down to a shell and old harness taken out. New harness is in and lays out very obvious. I just am looking for info on the box. I have a box that is not 1975 so want to make sure I get this hooked up correctly
  3. Thanks Mike. I was told the 1975 box is different so I need a year specific box?
  4. Looks like I need to get a 1975 fuse box? I think this box is off a 72 or 73
  5. Wire harness help. I have a 1975 wire harness Trying to figure out what order, or placement, is for these terminals. My other harnesses have always been individual wires and not these big terminals. I have tried to line up the colors to plug in but some don’t seem to line up . Any help is appreciated. If you have a picture of these plugged into the back of the fuse box then that’s even better
  6. Andrew, have you ever used this or have heard feedback on it? http://www.iemotorsport.com/bmw/item/linkage.html
  7. Do you have a link to the Lokar cable? Or is it the one TEP sells?
  8. 1970 car, I have the Ireland manifold, spanish 40s and the redline linkage. I got the carbs and linkage from TEP, manifold from IE. There seems to be something missing. The linkage that connects the redline setup to the throttle rod. Any of you have pics of the section at firewall to the carb linkage? I have attached a pic of the TEP setup so you can see what I have..from their site
  9. Thinking about buying some 13x6 or 13x6.5 steel Beronni wheels for Walter. Looking for the style that has the cutouts sort of triangle shaped Anyone have a set? i think they would look great on Walter
  10. This eve I installed like pic 2, it was very secure and I was able to install transmission with no further issues
  11. Stephers you are right. I finally found in manual that when you remove the spring you pry it from under the collar, which is under the pivot thanks!
  12. Much approximated I will try this. Several people, on an FB page, have mentioned a rubber washer that goes between the ball wnd and the fork. So you use this?
  13. It can, just be sure to put a piece of tape over the tips so you don't get crud into the lines
  14. Maybe I am just tired, or old, or old and tired..but,tyrying to get my 4 speed put back in and the clutch fork keeps falling out when I am close to getting trans stabbed. My feelings are I have the spring in incorrect position. Pic 1 (this way it always falls off)the spring is on underside of pivot ball but not under the lip. Pic 2 (i have not tried this way yet) seems secure but I want to make sure before I install. In pic 2 the spring is under the lip under the pivot ball. I have looked online and on FAQ and I can not find the info I am after...any help is appreciated ....yes i have a manual but mine does not show what it clips under
