I have a new set of brake pads for a tii. Still in the shrink wrap.
They were the rage back in the day. Repco Deluxe D152D.
Price really is to cover shipping.
PM me I have a set and no more car. They are yours
Repco Metalmasters D152D
They were preferred back in the day, but that was
a LONG time ago Still new in shrink wrap.
Sold my 75 2002 and have some parts left. Pair of struts, driveshaft, open 3.64 open diff,
radiator. Parts have been sitting on garage floor awhile. Someone please save them from
the scrapyard. Free to good home.
Google SAE Viscosity Chart and be overwhelmed.
The w after the first number in multi grade oils is the apparent viscosity when cold (winter) The second number is the viscosity when at operating temperature (approx. 100C) So straight grade oils are listed as SAE (number) ie SAE 30 Multi grade oils are listed as the apparent SAE grade when cold (10w) and then the grade when hot (30).
IE 10w30) This effect is achieved by additives called VI (viscosity improvers) which curl up when cold and act like ball bearings and stretch out into long chains when hot and thicken the oil. After time these VI additives break into shorter chains and the viscosity becomes less. That is when it's time for an oil change.
Sounds like you love this car, so just love it! For more HP get another car.
Besides, it's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. Learn how
to not slow down.
Have a few parts from my sold 2002 which I had upgraded. These are the removed parts.
Driveshaft, pair of front struts, open diff, dizzy, Please come take them away.
Really don't want to pack and ship so NNJ or NY guys can have them for free.
I have a pair of front struts with strut inserts, rotors (shot) and backing plates ( slightly bent in a few spots) for non tii 2002. However they have been modified to give about 3/4 degree of negative camber. I'm in NNJ so not so far away. Interested?
Original mirrors were flat glass. It had to be adjusted to see only one spot on the passenger side. I bought a convex glass replacement mirror only for a Volvo and ground it to fit over the flat glass and used silicone sealant to hold it in place. Huge improvement.
I agree with Tom.
I have the 38/38 on my car but it also has a cam, HC pistons, headers.
As the ad says, it is a high performance kit. Just pouring in more fuel
will not make it high performance.
