  2. It's already got the Weber on it, just needs some fine tuning.
  3. No major rust, just the spot under the passenger rear fuel tank. Not sure I would drive it that far, but it runs and starts just fine, I've just never personally driven it more than 10 at a time since I have owned it. I will trya and get some undercarriage shots loaded to the above album tonight.
  4. Out of winter storage and back for sake, I'm also moving and don't want to take this with me. So new low price.
  5. Good condition works. No light covers though. $40 shipped Location: Salt Lake City, UT<br />
  6. Automatic transmission Factory Air Conditioning Factory Sun Roof *Newly replaced items within the last 100 miles* Brakes Carburetor replaced with genuine Weber 32/36 (rebuilt) Alternator Battery Fuel Pump, and lines. Rebuilt ignition system All fluids replaced I bought this car a few years ago with the intention of holding on to it long term, but plans have changed. I purchased it from California where it had been all if its existence. The car has yet to be driven in the rain or snow here in Utah. It has always been garage kept as well. The car starts, runs and drives well. The car could be a daily driver or with a few touches a fun weekend car. The paint is not original, but is in fair shape. The trim has some dings as well. The car appears to have been in a small front end collision that was repaired. There is one rust section about 3"x6" by the fuel tank on the passenger side, and a small spot on the trunk and sunroof. All the strut towers are solid and in great shape. I have tried to keep the car as original as possible, while still keeping it reliable. I may be interested in a trade for a 67-69 Datsun Roadster, a VW Beetle convertible or ragtop up to 1968, a Karman Ghia convertible, or a Type III Notchback. Location: Salt Lake City, UT Year: 1974 Make: BMW Model: 2002 Body and Interior: Driver seat has two tears (see picture) Engine and Drivetrain: Weber 32/36 Suspension, Brakes: Stock Photo Album http://imgur.com/a/kwFte#0
  7. I de-smoged my 74 and am selling the all of the emissions related parts. This came of a running car that was from California. I believe I have all the parts off, only flaw is that the hose from the exhaust manifold to the canister under the intake manifold ripped, but you should be able to get one made pretty easily. Price is $150 shipped in the US. Location: Salt Lake City, UT
  8. Looking for a Jam engineering air cleaner adapter for a Weber 32/36. If someone has one lying around let me know otherwise I'll just order it from Jam. Location: Salt Lake City, UT
  9. I just took apart a solex 2bbl I will send you for the cost of shipping. the diaphragm for the secondary was shot, other than that it was fine.
  10. so I would need to tap the hole on the manifold then? What do I do on the exhaust side of all this?
  11. Does anyone know where I can get the egr block off plate?
  12. Got this pump from a part supplier it's not the long one that I need. Can't get a hold of the vendor for a refund. Just for clarification this is the short neck pump. This is brand new never installed. $75 shipped to anywhere in the continental us. or I can trade this + cash (on my end) for a WEBER 32/36. Location: Salt Lake City, UT
  13. My primary throttle shaft doesn't have a screw, just the ring with a pin. It's snug I'm the current collar, and I will make sure it is in the new one too. Thank you all for the guidance.
  14. I did, but either I cannot see the pictures or there aren't any anymore. I am a visual person. Thanks for everyone's help. I will get a picture of my current linkage setup tonight.
  15. Okay, looks like i unscrew the long hex nut from the old throttle plate and it should screw onto the the weber? so I don't need the bracket Zorac showed if my old stuff is usable?
  16. I am looking for a good condition weber 32/36. Not looking for one that needs to be rebuilt. Also looking for a jam engineering air filter adapter if you happen to have one. Location: Salt Lake City, UT
  17. So I am taking the plunge after finding my solex is not easily rebuild-able, I am going to buy a Weber 32/36. Are there any advantages to the "kit" over just the carb? just the plain carb is bolt on right? Can someone post a pic of how the stock linkage hooks up, I cannot for the life of me find a clear picture. I need a 32/36 dgev if switching to electric choke right? Do I need a spacer from the manifold to throttle bodies? Does anyone have the instructions that i can peruse, with pictures if possible. I know i will need to close off some of the vacuum lines, etc. This is all for a 74 auto with a solex 2bbl.
  18. What were his recommendations? Just new lines or something more. I think I might put new lines in since the car sat for 10 years.
  19. So a week ago my car stuttered and died, took 10 minutes of cranking to get it started again. I thought ignition, I tested the coil, put on a new cap and rotor and the problem remains. The car starts and idles fine, I can rev it in park, but if I put it I will gear it bogs down and dies. I replaced the fuel filter, and when I pulled line off the pump to the pressure regulator and cranked the engine barely a trickle came out. Anyone else have this problem? Car is a 74 automatic base with a 2bbl solex.
  20. Anyone in the SLC area happen to have a mechanical long neck pump for a 74 I could buy? I ordered one but am in a bind and need one now. Please call or text me if you have one. Jonathan 801-455-2326
  21. New front brakes and Cluster installed, and a new lower price.
