  1. SOLD! Sold to John G, a new 2002 owner. He'll use this bra to protect the front end of his new '02 on his drive home from St. Louis to Birmingham. Thanks again John, and enjoy!
  2. The garage cleanout continues.... For sale is a complete set of four OEM BMW 320i (1977-1983) wheels. These are 13" x 5.5" 20-spoke, "Turbine Style" wheels (similar to the Alpina style wheels). Wheel style number is #59134. Wheels do include Michelin tires, but tires will need to be replaced. I'm moving and need these wheels out of my garage! Wheels are located in Indianapolis. Can ship, but would prefer not to. Asking $100 OBO. As mentioned, I'm moving in two weeks and would prefer not to take these with me, so feel free to make an offer and come get them!
  3. I have a Colgan Bra for 74-76 cars in great condition. This came with my 76 when I bought it, and I never used it. Sold the car a month ago, and now cleaning out the garage. I can send photos upon requrest. These sell at BavAuto for $144.95 (item #BC3065). Asking $85 SHIPPED (OBO). Please email with any questions. Thanks!
  4. Price lowered to $90 SHIPPED. Need this out of my garage. Someone give it a good home!
  5. Car is sold... so time to clean out the garage! I have a 320 radiator that I purchased last year from FAQ member 2002Monster and never installed. It is a used radiator, but I'm told is in excellent condition. It is still packed as I received it (in foam peanuts, which is why I haven't pulled it out to take a photo!). $100 SHIPPED OBO. Please email with any questions. Thanks!
  6. Car is sold... so time to clean out the garage! I have a set of Bilstein HD shocks and struts that I purchased last year from another forum member but never installed. They are used, exact mileage unknown, but compression is very good. I can email photos if needed. $225 SHIPPED (in continental US) OBO. Please email with any questions. Thanks!
  7. My, that ashtray looks familiar! (BTW, excellent photography!)

  10. Charlie (or Ben), I have a set of H&R springs. Slightly used. Bought them last year from another forum member, but never installed. Just sold my car (unfortunately), and was getting ready to list the springs. Also have a set of Bilstein HDs and fixed camber plates, if interested.
  11. Dogsled... Thanks for the compliments. The collection of wires is a result of my unfinished Hella driving light project. I wired them, but haven't had time to run through the firewall and find an appropriate switch position on/under the dash. A perfect example of the real reason I'm selling the car.... TIME! Never enough time!
  12. I am regrettably listing my 1976 BMW 2002 with sunroof and AC. I have had the car for about a year and a half and am selling because I just don’t have the time to drive it like I should. The car is very solid and runs great. All of the usual rust spots, including the shock towers and rocker panels, look great and are rock solid. Dash is crack free. A few photos below, but Link to more PhotoBucket photos: http://s234.photobucket.com/albums/ee217/pinball81/1976%20BMW%202002/ I am the third owner of the car. It was originally a California car (Palo Alto area), and was in California through 1994 when it was purchased by the second owner in Detroit (car was driven in good weather conditions only – no Detroit winters!). The car has approximately 215,000 miles. Prior to my ownership, the engine was rebuilt (around 180,000 miles, no details on rebuild available). The second owner had the entire interior redone, including custom-covered leather Recaro seats, new headliner, new carpet, and new door panels. The steering wheel is from a 320i. He had the front fenders replaced to eliminate the US side markers (Euro look) and some paint work done at that time. He also added a Tii exhaust manifold and sport exhaust (not ANSA, but something similar) and Baseketweave wheels. During my ownership, I have had about $950 worth of work done on the mechanicals and brakes. The car runs great, and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. I have replaced the speedometer (was working intermittently when I purchased the car), replaced the Roundels (front and rear), added Hella driving lights, added a set of Coco Mats, and replaced the tires with Michelin Pilot Exaltos (about 500 miles on them). The car is ready to drive. Also included in the sale are two extra sets of wheels (the original steel wheels and a set of Turbines) and a number of extra parts (distributor caps, thermostats, etc., etc.). I’m asking $7900 OBO. The car is located in Indianapolis, IN. Please email with any questions. Thanks! http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee217/pinball81/1976%20BMW%202002/DSC_1913.jpg
  13. Ok... finally got a chance to pick up some extra wire to run longer grounds.... I grounded both lights to a bolt on the body behind the headlights (one grounding point for each light, of course). And... drumroll... still no light! Same story, one light works but one doesn't. I again checked the bulb using the continuity tester. Checked the continuity from the light and grounding point to ensure a complete circuit, as well. What gives? Any other ideas?
  14. Yep, did that! That's why I assumed the bulb was good (in addition to visual inspection). I think you're probably right about the grounding issue. I'll try that tonight (hopefully) and report back.
  15. One additional question... Where is the best spot to go through the firewall to wire the lights into the center console (in place of the green dummy switch). I assume there is an existing (and ACCESIBLE!) access point through the firewall?
  16. Mike, Excellent suggestion. I actually have them grounded to the brackets currently (not ideal, obviously!). So, if both lights are grounded identically to the brackets, why would one work and one not? Thanks for your help!
  17. No, I had not -- simply because I was too lazy to mess with unhooking the bulb. A visual inspection of the bulb shows nothing (filament intact, etc), but you're right... I need to try switching them. Thanks!
  18. Larry, just sent you an email... I like Larry's idea to clean out the garage a bit! To anyone looking at this thread, I have a set of 4 Turbines and a set of 4 Steelies available in the Indianapolis area, as well. Email me if interested and I can send some photos.
  19. Well, about six months after I mounted my Hella 500s, I thought I'd get around to actually wiring them. (6 months is appropriate, right?) So, the installation and wiring is all pretty simple and straight forward, even for a novice like myself. All went smoothly, until I reconnected the battery to test the lights.... one light works and one doesn't. The light that does not work is the one that's run off of the "extension" wire (black), for those that are familiar with the wiring kit that comes standard with the Hella 500s. Since the non-working light runs from the same power source (same wire) as the working light, I assume that it also has power. So, I checked and rechecked all connections, grounds, etc. All looked good. I used a continuity tester to test the circuit on that light. Check. Bulb good? Check. Removed light from plastic casing to make sure everything looked good. Rechecked all connections, grounds, etc. Still good. And... nothing... I can't get it to work! Any ideas? I'm sure it's something simple that I'm just overlooking, but I'm growing very frustrated... Thanks in advance for all of the brilliant solutions/suggestions that I'm sure are forthcoming!
  20. Doh! Answered my own question... sorry, pics weren't loading for some reason...
  21. I'm interested in the Roundel set... I assume it includes both front and rear?
  22. I'm Dave... Larry is Sahara75. AAAHHHHH!!!! Sorry Dave. I got an email from Larry earlier about this and didn't even look at the user name, I just assumed! :/ No worries! And I screwed up, too... Larry is Schwartz75 (not Sahara75). It's Monday... brain is still moving slowly...
