  1. I'm not ready to get rid of the drums. I still need the parking brake for the occasional roll in and out of the driveway. I'll keep you in mind when I am ready though! Thanks:)
  2. Hi! I have a few parts for sale left over from my M2 swap: Pedal box (complete) with throttle pedal $200 All prices negotiable! Make me an offer:) I'm replacing the entire braking system, so if there is a part you want or need that I didn't list, just ask. I've only listed what I've got off the car and cleaned up. The calipers, drums, etc are all still on the car and available for sale. I think the only part I'm keeping is the parking brake handle (for now). All parts from a 1971 Tii. EDIT: As mentioned below, I can't part with the rear drums just yet. booster/master cylinder/reservoir are SOLD Thanks!
  3. I'm going to put these in my alley for the trash man this weekend. If you Live near Long Beach and want them, drop me a line and I'll hold them for you. Yes, they are free, and in pretty good shape.
  4. Anybody interested? I could really use the space!
  5. Lots of parts still for sale! Make me an offer:)
  6. Not rebuilt, engine never overheated so I only replaced the headgasket and the offending pump. No smoke when warm, slight grey smoke when cold on a cold day, goes away after warmup. I don't know how long the engine has been in CA, the gent I bought the car from had it in san diego for several years. The car was originally titled in germany. It was serviced regularly by a well known bmw shop in sd before I owned it. The e12 swap was on there when I got it. I don't know why it was done. I can look at the odometer, but there is no guarantee it is accurate. Mileage unknown. Compression is design, not as measured. Leakdown is as measured, by me. Sorry for the long time to reply, was in the middle of a mini home remodel so the internet was out, and then my phone got stolen! Excuses, excuses. I'd love to have this thing go to a happy new owner...make me an offer!
  7. Engine is still for sale, and now I have a brake booster, master cylinder and complete pedal box and tower, including brake linkage to sell as well. All tii parts. Front and rear brakes will be coming off eventually, and will be for sale when they do.
  8. I have the front driver and passenger footwell and the tranny tunnel sound insulation pieces left over from my M2 swap. They are in great shape. If you can use them, drop me a line. Thanks!
  9. Shipping via YRC to 95816 is about $500 with residential pickup and delivery. If you want me to deliver it to the YRC dock down here and you pick it up from a commercial adress, it will be about $300. FWIW, it cost me $700 to get my S14 from Connecticut to Long Beach. These prices do not include insurance, which would be another hundred or two. Probably cheaper just to rent a u-haul and drive down if you are serious. The engine is in a Scribner shipping crate, so strapping it down in the back of a pickup would be no big deal. The crate (it can hold a fully dressed big block V8) alone is worth $250. Thanks!
  10. my email button should now be working.
  11. Thanks, Scott! Now if I could only change a setting to sell this motor...
  12. http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,57/page,viewtopic/t,374252/highlight,/ Gosh, thread bumping would be nice... Make an offer and you may be surprised.
  13. No interest? Hard to believe NODODY wants a complete Tii motor at any price......
  14. Guten Tag! I have a BMW 2002tii engine for sale. It has uncracked original plastic runners and a complete kugelfischer injection system, minus the cold start relay. The cold start injector is wired to be hooked up to a switch (switch not included). CR is 10:1 (to the best of my knowledge), with piano tops. Leakdown is less than 10% on all cylinders, with the engine cold after a few cranks. Motor spins freely. Engine was in my daily driver 2002 and was pulled to make room for a swap. Head gasket replaced recently. No issues adjusting valve clearance. Ignition coil is new, and comes with new msd wires. I do not have the original tii airbox. Tii Exhaust manifold not included. 80 amp alternator has about 200 miles on it since replacement. Warm-up regulator is good. Oil dipstick tube support is broken, once repaired. The head is an e12, not original, and the block is from a 74 tii. An extra set of delivery valves and kugelfischer oil line are included. Spark plugs have only been turned over since new. Spare ignition coil included. Thermo-time switch is included, although I never used it so I don't know if it works or not. One stud for the plenum mount on the head is stripped. Two valve cover fastener holes are stripped. Parts List: Complete engine (long block, as pictured) Clutch Flywheel Starter Throttle linkage Misc. coolant and oil lines Engine mounts (brackets not included) Thermo-time switch (not pictured) Spare k-fish needing rebuild Price is $1500, OBO. I will entertain all serious offers, "serious" being the key word there. Let's make a deal! I am really sick of this thing taking up space. 15. Yes, still for sale. Previous buyer had better half issues:) Here is an updated link: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/pts/3032907290.html Thanks!
  16. Thats the one, sorry about the link. Thanks!
  17. I have a Tii motor for sale on craigslist: https://post.craigslist.org/manage/3000628472 If you are interested in any part of it or the whole thing, make me an offer. Thanks!
  18. Thanks for the tip, but the subframe is already modified. Unfortunately, the gentleman with the tunnel has had some other things take priority over shipping sheet metal cross country, so I'm kinda back to square one on the tunnel mods. Oh well... I did try the dry ice trick on the asphalt sound insulation, works pretty well. You do need to be rather ginger with the mallet, even a rubber one, because the metal will deform pretty easily. None of that UHSS stuff here!
  19. Hi, I have a getrag 245 5-speed transmission from a 320i that was swapped into my 2002. I'm now putting in a 265, and don't need this anymore. It has a shortened selector rod and the speedo drive gear, but no shifter tower or shifter. I'm asking $150 OBO. Don't want to ship, it would double the price, and it's not really worth it. Tranny is in good shape, never gave me any issues, never noticed any grinding or popping out of gear. A good candidate for a 5-speed swap. Thanks for looking!
  20. Surfndrag, the motor is still for sale! I've been working on the M2 and selling parts took a back seat...Sorry! Bradford, I just left you a message on your voicemail. Hutton, are you still interested in the booster and Exhaust manifold? I haven't sold any parts yet, but I did post the injection system for sale on ebay yesterday. I would MUCH rather sell to a faq'er!
