  9. I read a lot about this process. There is a place in burlington nc that does the dip but not the coating. if they dipper does the neutralization properly you should have no problems. the high end restorers do it all the time.
  10. I will jump in with more kudos to the seller. He is very busy with insurance stuff so might not be able to respond immediately. So give him a break. But he is super easy to work with and ships right away!! Very good guy!
  11. That must be a new pattern as it is very different from the one I received. And it looks to include more pieces. I had to make multiple relief cuts in the transmission tunnel piece to get it to fit even remotely flat. No way I could run with no console.
  12. Great looking car!! I thought we might have a match, but mine is a Ceylon tii from 1973. VIN 2763863
  13. East coast rebuilt purchaser here....the first pair fit so close to the disc hat that is wouldn't turn. the second pair also rubbed on the little casting letters on the hat but we got around that with a grinding the letters down. not really impressed with the fit and finish of these things. But they work just fine. have another car that will need the same. will probably look into a professional rebuild of the originals if possible. anyone know of a good rebuilder? 73 tiis
