  1. Who are you? Which questions? I receive lot of mails every day with questions for parts we make, so maybe a mail was lost or what ever. And I didn't log in to this website for a time, so there are some messages I did not see, but not yours.
  2. Hello @ all here a few pics of my last "Youngtimertrophy" race at Nürburgring, but no video at the moment. The first few pictures are Youngtimerrace 1 (also a few trainingsession pics) ...and some impressions of youngtimer 2 W.

  5. Is there anything which is able to kill a 265? In normal case, a giubo problem is a drivetrain problem. If it is not straight enough, or better the angle have more than 3-4 degrees (when you have a metal/nylon/rubber compound) then the rubber heats and the guibo will be destroyed. That is not a racecar problem, that is in most cases a problem when someone put a 5speed gearbox not correct in the car for example. but if the rubber is not strong enough or something like that, then you will have the same problems. At the moment I do not know these problems, but in 2009 there was a problem with the compound. I do not remember which manufacturer it was.
  6. I know a set of Stilauto rims here in germany. Not cheap I think, not the best condition, but maybe one of the few chances to get a set. If you are interested send me a PM.
  7. There was a time the quality of the guibos was really poor. We needed a lot of guibos in short time. And we were not alone with these problems. Then I remembered the time at ZF. They eleminated every guibo in the race cars. So we made the Aluminium construction. I had never had any problem in the past years with that solution, but I don´t like it. But now, we rebuilt a third gearbox for the car with another ratio, so it was time for a better solution. Now I am glad with this solution, I like it. In my opinion, the main problem is a race clutch without torsion springs. I use torsion springs and the 235 gearboxes thank it well. W.
  8. Only just a new idea (maybe someone else had the same, I do not know) to make it a bit more professional, we made this new combination of Output flange including the "fixed" guibo. Ok, it was necessary to modify the prop shaft again (same flange as on the LSD side), but it works perfect :-) Here the old variant with fixed guibo, the problem was, you have to buy the output flange at BMW (it is a well known problem with damaged teeth at the 235 gearbox) , plus producing the aluminium guibo. Now the costs are reduced to EUR 250.- for the complete part (in hardened steel). And there is only 1 part without any additional screw. W.
  9. Hi Stefan, sorry, I think no other race will have a live stream. The 24h Classic race is very special and they use the camera equipment of the "real" 24h race at the next day. I also watched the 24h Classic on live stream, because I was on holiday in Italy and watched the 1000 Miglia live in Brescia :-) Both 3 hour races are not on my plan this year. I think my next race will be Zolder. Because I need a lot of helping hands and the guys have to spend a lot of their time, so it is not easy at all. W.
  10. Why not using a straight inlet manifold? if you use a kind of Alpina A4 inlet manifold (not angled and shorter than the TI inlet) you should have enough room with ITBs and brakebooster. Maybe an option, you have to measure it. My Heidegger Racecar for example, had the Alpina guillotine injection with non TI brakebooster. There was not much space between the extra long trumpets and booster but it worked. Best Regards W.

  15. Hi, the Schnitzer car is Group5. The car have the typical doorframe for plexiglass and so the doors are fiberglass. Both was not allowed in group2 post 71....and the car cannot be a pre 71 car, so the only way is "late" group5 (early group5 is -69) W.
