  1. I have to say, I do not know much about the history of these Albert centers, but these are one of the first 3 piece wheels, if you do some research on photos of the BMW race history. I believe they came on the market in 69, also possible 68. Difficult to say. The next 3piece wheels could be the Alpinas.....I do not find the papers at the moment, but I believe 69 and in 1972 came the BBS E30. Maybe BBS bought the production know how of Albert or maybe they did only a similar design, maybe the Albert production is Ronal as Alpina could be possible. Maybe someone did that research, it would be interesting. Cheers W.
  2. Hi, this is an Albert center. Dimensions similar to E30 BBS. Regards W.
  3. early TII instrument cluster in good condition.
  4. The threaded is thicker, for sure, or better my threaded ones are thicker. I have several sets of both variants. You are playing funny games here :-) Great and interesting. Let us try to find the answer. Bilstein was the only manufacturer for upside down struts. Do you really think they produce for Alpina another strut design? Makes no sense. What kind of Bilstein struts were sold by GS Koepchen or Schnitzer? Alpina sold also Fichtel&Sachs (see my ex Alpina A4 car) with negative camber and lowered spring plate. They look exactly like a normal TI strut. But no wonder, Fichtel&Sachs produces also normal TI struts. A solution can be the production year. This could be the simple answer. If I remember correct, if you buy a set of upside down at the moment you get the strut variant with this edge. I will check a few old catalogs, mayybe the pictures are good enough. Do you have threaded ones in you car? I believe yes. Cheers W.
  5. Hi Jonas, Hmmmm. The yellow ones in your pic shows the Bilstein strut without spring plate. These are a bit thicker than the other. The left in your pic have a spring plate. Here a sample of mine, there you see the difference.
  6. To be correct, this is a Bilstein Upside Down strut, maybe sold by Alpina. If the vented disks have 20mm then the disks are Alpina. Most of these disks have less than 18mm and are not longer usable. Springplate lowered or not? Negative camber? What is about the numbers on the shocks? xxx/xxx Bilstein makes these kind of struts new, but only adjustable in height not with springplate and not longer with negative camber. The parts could be interesting for someone with a historic racecar. W.
  7. Just curious, did you buy the Diff from Reinhard ( Austria) ?
  8. The car was for sale long time here in germany for around 110000.- Euro.
  9. What I see is a car in Alpina look and race car look. Not more. I saw the car x times for sale somewhere. The car Looks nice and maybe a few goodies in it.
  10. Cool history! No idea for the flares. Here a picture of Wolfrace 7x13 LK 4x100
  11. At the moment it seems that I am the only one who is able to produce wheel hub cover repros for the 35cm petri steering wheel. And I plan to produce the hub covers also for the 40cm Petri which will fit e9 and e12 and also the extra long version for the CSL. W.
  12. @Alpinaguru, here the pics of the cover
  13. Radtyp 8032 is minus 12. 8031 is plus 1. The 8032 is really rare. It is a special edition ATS wheel for Opel by a tuner. Not sure Lexmaul, Irmscher. They are much lighter than the standard 8031 wheel. There are existing a few more 8x13 specials, ET0 (Lexmaul edition, also Radtyp 8031) and ET minus11 Radtyp 8135 (I saw only one rim of these). W.
  14. New hub covers for the 35cm Petri with structure! Not for use with E9 or CSL hubs. EUR 70.- plus shipping and so on. PM please.
  15. For sale: New powdercoated M10 cast aluminium valvecover. If interested, PM please.
  16. At the moment I have a ´71 car in the shop. I took a few shots. Maybe it helps. And I have a few used parts for the 3piece dash left in stock.
  17. Hi Henning, here is the german guy;-) And here is the part. If someone is interested in, please PM. W.
  18. Hi Jeff, yes in germany ;-) For USA the Avon dealer locater says www.sascosports.com www.rogerkrausracing.com or www.frisbyracetire.com Too bad I have no photo of these tyres on a 02. But I saw these tyres at my last Nürburgring race in October on a FIA pig cheek car and it looks great instead of these super small diameter 225/45 Hankooks, Toyos or Michelins. Diameter is 559mm Avon - 529mm (Toyo for example) They are available in soft and medium compound. It will be my next tyre for streetuse. Best Regards Wolfgang
  19. Hi, you can try Avon ZZR 215/55-13. The "look" of them is a bit closer to the 235/60. W.

  22. Hi Tom, yes it was an Alpinacar. But nearly all parts are changed over the years. Really hard crashes, new built x times, because it was used as a rallyecar in the eightees and ninetees, the next new built and I changed the rest of the car back to a trackcar. And I plan the next modifications which could be possible in FIA group2/71. W.
  23. I have only one racecar left (Group2/71, also streetlegal in germany) . All others are sold. One racecar is enough, too much other projects;-)
