Make:: BMW
Model:: 2002
I realize this isn't a 2002 but I thought someone might have a "need" for a different kind of BMW.
I have no business keeping this bike and had no business building it! I've got old car projects and a KTM and GS that suck my wallet enough! So I 'm putting my scrambler project up for sale.
It's a '77 R100/7 - I shortened the sub frame, moved the top shock mounts in some, installed a steel "stubby" rear fender, powder coated the wheels, installed Kenda trials tires, rebuilt the carbs, installed a "simple" speedometer (weather pac connector), super moto bars, polished the bar mounts, I re-selaed the top end, installed 17" reverse cone mufflers, new grips, aluminum bar end mirrors, frame stripped and re-painted, the tank was stripped and re-painted Jaguar British racing green, the headlight has a yellow tint film you can pull off, I made the seat pan and had it done in saddle brown vinyl, installed an aluminum rear tail light, cleaned and clear coated all aluminum (shock stanchions, hubs, etc...)
The "bad": It will need a new rear wheel bearing at some point, the tank has a very small "dimple" in it that's actually hard to see, there's also some small paint imperfections on the tank (I didn't have a paint booth)
I'm sure I'm forgetting something so please feel free to ask any questions.
It's fun as hell and damn pretty I think!
I'm asking $6300
