  4. I need to have my valve guides upgraded to the newer version and was wondering how much it should cost to have someone do it and do you need to take the head off to do the job...thanks to whom ever replies!!

I bought a 1976 2002 and noticed it had pertronix in a 0231180008 dizzy with vacuum advance and was wondering what year this dizzy is from and should I change it out to a mechanical advance dizzy...I plan on installing a MSD 6a soon...........Thanks for any replies!!...ps...my car has dual 40 webers,header,2.5 exhaust.

  9. drivin home yesterday and noticed a weird smell and realized it was coming from my battery(TEP battery relocated in back),and the battery was hella hot..my battery and my alternator are new..what the hell could it be.My thought was that is was the voltage regulator but thought I would ask you guys first.Thanks for any help!

  11. I was trippin too before I started cutting the fender wells...the fronts are very easy but the rears are quite a chore....you need to be or know a really good patient welder....here's a pics midway through the process.Good luck!!!
