  1. Yes, the car is still available. Thanks for your interest.
  2. Up for sale is my 1973 BMW 2002. (Automatic) I'm the third owner and have had it garaged as long as I had it (4 Years). The car has been in California its whole life and was purchased new by a gentleman in Ripon, CA. When I first purchased the car I replaced the exhaust with the Ireland Engineering full stainless exhaust. That change alone made the car run and sound a lot smoother. I also replaced the rubber fuel filler neck behind the gas cap. I have a brand new front windshield gasket and tubing but have not installed. I also purchased a complete engine gasket kit with intentions to install in the future. All together I've driven this car less than 200 miles. The car just got a new battery one month ago. When driving longer distances the temp gauge hovers just above half way but comes back down when not on the throttle. Horn does not work, blinkers, wipers, cigarette lighter, running light, and headlights all work. I had door handles re-pinned to work with ignition key. Issues of the car is that there is a small transmission leak. It leaks about a "quarter" sized amount in a two week span. I recently bought a transmission pan and bell housing gasket. I drained, filled and replaced the transmission pan gasket but the leak is still there. The next issue is the front right tire will go flat unexpectedly if not driven in awhile. Tires are all new, I pulled the wheel off and brought it to Les Schwab for inspection and they could not find a reason for this issue. The wheel will stay inflated and hold pressure for weeks, but will randomly go flat. All other wheels are fine. Interior, carpet is original but needs replacing, driver seat bottom half is ripping, passenger seat is okay. Never did pick up the back seat bench springs from previous owner. If someone really wants it included I can contact to see if he still has it. As for the rust, mostly surface, the worst of it is in the spare tire well were two small holes are. One other thing I did that may or may not appeal to others is that I took off side and rear reflectors and covered the holes with round white vinyl stickers. You can see the change in the photos I've provided. I also removed the license plate lights and replaced them with "lighted" license plate bolts. The original license plate lights were in working order but were not in good shape. All reflectors and original license plate lights will be included. Also included is a full car cover made for the 2002. I will try to include as many photos as possible. If there is a part of the vehicle you would like a more detailed picture I will do my best to accommodate and upload here and/or directly send it to you. For quick responses, you can reach me at cwilliams0619@gmail.com or my cell phone 209-485-4541. Asking $9,000 Located in Turlock, CA 95382 VIN 2533190

  4. For sale is a Covercraft 400 series car cover that fits the 2002. I had it on my car to test fit, (Fits perfect) but left it off cause I just liked to look at the car sitting in my driveway. I eventually sold the car and I was doing some spring cleaning and found this up in the attic. The cover was stored in a plastic bag and is free of any rips, tears, and stains. It is a little dusty and I do have the key for locking the cover to the car. Here is a link to summit racing for more details on the 400 series Covercraft. Part number is C80003. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cvc-c80003 Also check ebay to compare it to my price. Asking $115 shipped to the lower 48 states. For quicker response please email me at cwilliams0619@gmail.com
  5. Thank you for the payment. It will be sent tomorrow. (Tuesday)
  6. I'm moving and getting rid of a lot of stuff, like this diecast model 1972 BMW 2002 Tii. Brand new this ran $60. Very detailed, steering turns wheels, bmw logo on shifter. etc. If you look closely it is missing a windshield wiper and the right side mirror. Great gift for a kid or in the office. Sorry for all the pictures. It is $25 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states. Paypal: cwilliams0619@gmail.com
  7. Thanks for all the great ideas and honest opinions. Keep them coming.
  8. I’m trying to sell my non-operationally 1976 BMW 2002. What I want to know is how can I create a great listing for my vehicle? You can see what I have now, here. http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,57/page,viewtopic/t,314791/highlight,/ Is there any other specific facts; descriptions, pictures, or websites that I could add to my listing to make it more appealing. I would rather not use ebay but may end up doing so. I would also like to hear your own experiences and things you would differently. Thanks in advance your time.
