  1. I am looking to buy a fuel filler neck for my '74 and a passenger side wiper arm. Thanks! Location: LA<br />
  2. I have been wanting to do another one(I did a 2002 one when I was doing Depth of Speed) and have been looking around to do one. I think I have the a good candidate lined up so hopefully we can get it done soon!
  3. I am indeed a member and own a 74 2002 that unfortunately I wasn't able to bring to the show. Great show and some fantastic cars!
  4. Just noticed this was on the main page. A day late and a dollar short!
  5. I thought others here might be able to relate to this article... http://www.petrolicious.com/i-drove-a-1970-bmw-2002-and-found-god
  6. Hey guys I am currently working with Petrolicious.com and doing their videos. I run Depth of Speed and you may be familiar with the 2002 video I did Since the love for my 2002 and BMW knows no bounds I have convinced the powers to be at Petrolicious to run a video series highlighting the different generations of BMW.Here is the link and text of what we are looking for: We're planning a video series based solely on the generations of BMWs and searching for 2002s, E9s, E21s, E30s (325i convertibles or M3), E24s (635csi or M6), and E28s (535i or M5s). We are looking for interesting stories related to these cars we love and will be shooting 6 videos in the Southern California area. We are looking for all walks of life from young to old, daily drivers to track cars, and everything in between. If you have an interesting story or a beautiful car please contact us. If you're unfamiliar with our website, please have a look. Petrolicious videos and articles are written, shot, and produced by vintage car enthusiasts and drivers, and we are proud of the quality of the work as well as grateful for the time and love we've received from vintage car owners. If interested, please contact: Barmak Behdadnia [email protected] http://www.petrolicious.com/articles/searching-for-socal-bmw-owners If you are interested please contact our Production Manager through the email above or you can email me through the board or post questions here. I just recently moved to LA with my 02 and haven't had a chance to meet too many people in the community and look forward to meeting more.

  8. I haven't been particularly happy with the URO's I installed 6 months ago. My driver door is just barely starting to break in where I don't have to slam the door every time to get it to shut and lock. The passenger door is still a pain though. Hopefully they both break in and I can shut the door normally.
  9. I am interested in your wiper arms. Please email me.
  10. It looks like I need to turn north and get up that way. We are hoping to get up in those areas towards the end of summer. Thanks for the suggestions!
  11. So the time has come to pack away the 74 2002 into storage for a while. My wife and I are traveling the country and continuing my Depth of Speed video series. If you aren't familiar please check it out at http://depthofspeed.com/ I did the video of Sky's 2002 from last summer. http://vimeo.com/26410231 Anyways you can see our travel dates and what cities we will be in on the site. I am a huge 2002 and BMW enthusiast and would love to do more vintage BMW related films. If you have a car that you would like featured or have a great story please contact me. I am open to a wide range of topics. Also if you know of a place like a shop or museum that we should visit I would love to hear about it. Or if you want to chat it up with a fellow enthusiast I would love to meet new people.
  12. Is it best to install a 3 point harness to the C-Pillar or to the rear seat belt mounting point? I looked through the Schroth installation guide and it shows the rear seat belt mounting point as an option and also the C-Pillar. I can only find one thread through searching that had them attached to the C-Pillar. I am just wondering what the best option is? This car has a simple Autopower roll bar(no mounting options for harness) and Recaro seats.
  13. I went through both of those links and still have the issue. The clamping the wheels to the vent frame and making the adjustment worked like a charm for the drivers side. Here is a picture.
  14. The vent window? How does that adjust forward?
