    My brother has the car at his house (along with the title) So once I get the VIN where do I look? RealOEM? The hinges are black, no faux stitching (have to get a better picture) Going to pull the backs to see if there are still tags Thanks!!

    Thanks Rick and Mike So definitely in 71, cool So was the seat strap sensor added at the same time? I'm assuming that was only used in the driver seat (I have to lookup its real part name) This is all related to identifying seats, just when I think I've got it all figured out something else crops up ? Thanks again

    It looks like the Seat Belt warning system was first installed in 72 But I saw some mention of some that came out for the last half of the 71 Can anyone clarify? Thanks!

    Without taking it apart, I can't figure out what kind of seat this is? It has scheel seat rails, but that's the only clue I have any recognize it by chance?

    Thanks Steve, I'll cancel my order for an electron microscope ? I know it's not a big deal, but those little details are just as interesting as anything else. As a follow-up... From what I've read there is no database or reference for the serial number on the transmission, no known coding there either (other than the "/4" I guess) Am I right about that? Thanks again!     Maybe it isn't, I'm hoping I'm just missing something obvious, but I'm getting cross eyed from reading posts This date casting is from a 232 4 speed, it appears to have no nubs indicating the month I pointed out a few suspects in the pics, but I'm just grabbing at straws Has anyone ever seen one like this? Thanks in advance!
