  1. Do you have a notion of how bad cross country shipping is after the SoCal inquiries? I'm in Portland, Oregon, so it'll be at least as bad as SoCal, I assume, but that'll give me a rough idea. I know you'd prefer local pickup, but it sounds like shipping is perhaps possible but just hasn't added up for a buyer yet? Thanks, Jesse
  2. This hood is from a 1971 2002. The car was originally Colorado Orange, though the hood is now white on top and black on the underside. The trim holes were bondoed in at some point, though some have popped out. It would definitely need a bit of bodywork before going on a straight car, but is generally sound. Pictures available. Includes torsion hood prop mechanism/arms. $150/offer
  3. Please allow me to emphasize the "OBO" portion of my listing... These engines are underfoot and taking up space I need for the engine that's taking up space in the engine bay! Cheers, Jesse
  4. Sorry, I'm hoping not to ship them. I'm looking to make space to get on with other projects, and taking the time to crate them and take them to a freight depot cuts into the upside of that pretty badly... If you want to do the research, you might be able to talk me into doing the crating and so forth. And sorry to everybody for my apparent inability to get my replies attached to the pertinent messages.
  5. I'd rather not sell any ancillaries off 'til the engines go. I'd kick myself something awful if somebody wanted the engines but then was put off by not having the flywheel. And the flywheel doesn't clear up much shop space
  6. I have a pair of M20s that I've decided I'm not going to use after all. I got them with the intent of doing the Franken-M20 eta bottom end with 323i head in order to get the 'i' ports, 2.7L grunt, and the better compression ratio afforded by the 323i head as opposed to dropping a 325i head onto the eta bottom end. The 323i engine is a junkyard unit of unknown origin. I bought it from someone who it was shipped to by mistake when he attempted to order a 320i engine for his son's car. It has the later '731' head casting with larger valves than the early '200' casting, though I believe still smaller than 325i ports. The 325e engine I bought from someone I know and trust, and who told me that it was tired, though IIRC not making any nasty racket indicative of a violent end. I viewed these engines as solid cores for building my engine. I would not expect either of them to be in good enough condition to bolt in and go. I'm noting here what I know about them, and I can make no further guarantees. $350 OBO for the pair. Located in Portland, OR. Cheers, Jesse
