  3. Looks great Jason! I have some seats that need new foam so I will give them a call. Do you know if they use injection molding seat foam?
  4. http://www.germanradiorepair.com/ Expensive but did a great job on my radio.
  5. I was hoping to make this one but I'm not going to be able to get away. Hopefully I can attend next month. Bob

  9. Nice find! Old Red is gonna clean up nice. Let the madness begin. I wish i could make room for another '02 project.
  10. Can someone tell me the inner width of the center console (long console) just under the ash tray. I'm considering ordering a vintage looking yet modern performing radio from Woody's custom shop. He has one that is 8 inches wide but i'm not sure it would fit a stock looking application. I'm at work and can't measure my console so I was hoping someone could help me out. My objective is to keep the center console looking as stock as possible so I don't want to modify it if I don't have to. Thanks, Bob
  11. I use a mobile 1 filter and brad penn oil. I change the oil and filter once a year. This is for a street car. It doesn't seem like many are using the mobile 1 filter. Maybe i should switch to the Mann...
  12. Armond - make sure you compare some of the prices against Mobile T's current pricing. Mobile T has come way down. I just looked up a new front grill. $393 on your site vs $259 on Mobile T's. It seems they've dropped the price significantly on trim. New door brakes are $78 bucks (109 on your site). I just bought them two weeks ago for $120+ a piece. That's enough of me making a sales pitch for Mobile T. I was just surprised how much some of the pricing has dropped from what I paid over the last few months. It very depressing for me...but hopefully good for anyone starting out on a resto.
  13. I was just perusing Mobile Traditions website and I noticed several parts I have ordered recently have been reduced in price significantly. For example, you can get a new one piece dash for $991. The price was over $1400 just a month ago. New door panels are offered at $248. I think they were around $350+ last month. All kinds of stuff is marked down. Just my luck as I'm wrapping up my restoration. Kills me to see all these deals... after the fact. Good news for anyone looking to replace parts. Enjoy the price decrease while it lasts. Blunt can usually beat any Mobile Traditions price so the discounts could be even be deeper. Xmas come early!...or maybe it's Xmas come late...
  14. I vote for Nevada. I just love the classic clean look of Nevada. It's understated like Sahara (my fave ofcourse). Seems like i see a lot of Malaga but not so much Nevada...
  15. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! Al, my new year resolution is to install your belts! Got my car back from the bodyshop over thanksgiving but haven't done the interior yet.
  16. How about trunk panels?? I'm now in the market for those. Loving your parcel shelf from the last run..btw.
  17. Reviving an old thread. Does anyone know if the goldbraun/schwarz door panels offered by mobile traditions are the orangish saddle color?? Or is it still the incorrect material mapped to the correct part number? I'm referring to part number 51411816861 on the mobile traditions website. If not, any idea where I can source new saddle/black door panels? Thanks
  18. One of my favorite sayings... "you've got to pay to play"... I'm currently running a 38/38 with a 292 cam and 10.5 to 1 pistons. Very happy with the setup but i have been considering side draft 40s. Some people seem to love them and think they are simple. Others seem to say they are impossible to tune perfect. I didn't realize the gas mileage could be all that different but it makes sense it would be a little worse. Seems like it really boils down to how heavy your foot is. I seem to get 25+ with my 38/38 in 5th gear which is more than enough for me...
  19. The body shop broke off my momo horn plunger when removing the steering wheel. I was happy to find a new horn contact on ebay that worked like a charm. At first, I was worried i might have to buy a whole new adapter but that was not the case. If anyone needs a new horn plunger for a momo adapter one can be found here... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MOMO-Hub-Adapter-Horn-Connector-Plunger-Style-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2c594e04d8QQitemZ190476846296QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  20. +1 Check the stalk switch. I just had the same issue and fixed it with a new highbeam/low beam stalk.
  21. Esty wrote "each of us have our opinions...like them or not we are entitled to express them (aren't we)" Posting a message up on the board that another board member is a "worthless piece of crap" is not only a bit overboard but it's rude and unprofessional. Esty, as a professional service provider to members on this forum, we expect more from you. If you don't like the way a competitor is advertising their product there are much more productive ways to raise the issue. I don't know about others but i'm sure getting tired of all the name calling on this forum.
