I had the stainless 5speed line from Ireland , and it would not fit with my 4spd 323i transmission. It was too short. I ended up using a new 2002 master, E30 325i clutch rubber flex line, clutch slave, throw out bearing, and clutch kit I ended up using a Lokar cable. I can't remember the length, but I got the longest one, and cut it to length. You can trim both the inner cable as well as the housing to size, so longer is better than too short. As for the bottom of the linkage , I left the stock 2002 bracket that attaches to the throttle rod, and filed out the hole to attach to the bottom end of the lokar cable. I fabricated a bracket to hold the housing, and replaced 2 pedal box bolts with longer bolts to mount it to. The top is easier to figure out. Are you using new hardline to run the high pressure fuel to the engine bay? I bent new steel fuel line (tracing the external steel return line that already existed) and used that as my feed. The return line I used the original return. Also, you can buy legit BMW fuel hose ( I think its 8mm) and it looks great under the hood and is really high quality fuel line.
