  1. Thanks for your response. I've tried several used switches I acquired on the FAQ. They all can't be bad. Perhaps it's something in the wiring as you mentioned. The wires are connected properly as indicated from a diagram I also found on the FAQ. If the relay controls the turn signals and all 4 work fine, what is it that could be causing the 4-way not to engage? Do I test for power on each wire connected to the switch? I'm not that electrically inclined so I'm hesitant.
  2. The bulbs are good in all the switches I tried. The new relay I installed is this one 61 31 1 364 984. Heres another quirk that I noticed-when the knob is pulled up, the turn signals will not work. When the knob is down they work perfectly.
  3. Greetings guys. Just thought I'd run this one by anyone who has experienced the same. I have a '71 with the early style pull-up hazard switch on the left hand side of the instrument cluster. My hazard/4-way flashers have never worked in nearly 20 years of owning my vehicle. I've tried several supposedly working switches to no success. I put off replacing the relay due to its cost and I was still able to use my turn signals as they worked fine however I would only get one green blink on the instrument cluster. I finally decide to spring for a brand new flasher relay as i noticed there are ones that are under $150. I install the relay and still no hazard light. I get nothing when I pull it up. No red light on the knob. No flashers. Power issue maybe? Now here's a plus, my green blinker blinks for the duration of the activated turn signal which is great. At least the relay was good for something. So any ideas on my bum hazard lights?
  4. I'm interested. Still available?
  5. Hi Sherman. I contacted you via hotmail.
  6. Looking for working early hazard switch for my '71 2002. Two switches in and I still can't get the hazards to work. Mini bulb in the red knob is in tact but never powers up. Odd symptoms that show faulty switch: –turn signals work when hazard switch is in –turn signals do not work when hazard switch is pulled out Ruled out faulty relay since the turn signals work.
  7. Thanks for your response. I managed to repair the actuator by disassembling the whole unit and reattaching the little plastic connector that triggers the latch.
  8. Greetings all. If anyone has installed the electronic trunk release currently available and can send me the install guide, I'd greatly appreciate it. I no longer have my instructions and need to make a repair to the actuator. I didnt do the install myself so I'm not certain how all the pieces fit into place. Thanks in advance. Albert
  9. Wow! Excellent! I'll take it. How one do we proceed. Thanks for for getting back to me on this. Albert

  15. Thanks for your response. That explains their stopped communication. I requested a price quote for minor customization to one of their seats. I was was told someone would get back to me and they never did. Stefan is great at GTS but their prices are a bit higher than BF Torino. Sorry for the delayed response. I was not notified that there was a reply here. Cheers
  16. Greetings all. Was wondering anyone has dealt with BF Torino recently for seats. I was in touch with them recently but after one exchange, their communication went cold.
  17. Looking for screw on knobs for: –Blower –Lights –Wiper Or does anyone know a source for decals that can be applied to blank knobs. Thanks
  18. Greetings all. If anyone has these pieces for sale, please let me know. Thanks -instrument cluster light sockets (push and twist pieces that hold the bulbs) -seat lever grommets that attach to floor by the outer seat rail.
  19. Thanks for the info and pics. Very helpful. Those seats at look great. So plump and comfy. There looks to be some side bolster. What a difference new seat pads make. Only if they weren't so expensive. Regards Albert
  20. Greetings all. Im looking to refresh the original seats from my '71. Id like to replace the black seat trim that the headrest posts insert into with the chrome finish trim. I have noticed there are 2 sizes-10mm and 12mm. Are the posts really different by 2 mm? Also, how does one remove the trim piece from the seat. My guess is that the seat back must be removed. Lastly, there are several sources for seat pad bottoms. Can someone recommend a source based on the comfort and quality of the pad. Thanks in advance. Albert
