  1. And this just fell in my lap. A real wood veneer facia, euro cluster. I will attempt to carefully refinish the surface as the old varnish has dried, cracked & disappeared in places. As Hans discovered, these were in Tii Lux models, only. (anyone know differently?) I bought this for the speedo gauge. I will most likely just move the face and ctr gauge to my existing cluster. And as Scott Aaron noted, the left gauge in this cluster does not have the cross hairs as the later years have. (Which my 76 has) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  3. lol - I will give this some serious thought, like when I have the motor out in the spring.
  4. I have the IE fixed plates: http://www.iemotorsport.com/bmw/2002-suspension-steering/02fcp.html These look too mild for what I need, I presume.... Scott
  5. aaah... interesting, OK. The plates I have are fixed yes, forget where they came from. So I should get adjustable. Any recommendation? We had 4-5" of snow this morning! uggg.
  6. Thanks John! When I dropped the car (~2"?), I thought I got some neg camber, but maybe I need more? I have some camber plates I will give a try, when I get the new shocks in.
  7. It just occurred to me, this 02 and I have been on the FAQ for over 10 years now, and the project list never ends! Replacing what I've already replaced now. The car went into winter storage (with its new E90 convertible friend) last weekend. Things I'm preparing for in the spring when it comes out hibernation: Thanks to John Pantel, I have a 5th matching borrani for the spare. Just need to get a tire on it, that's the easy one. Changing the suspension from softer to stiffer, in the spring. Just need a set of rear springs. H&R. (Any leads appreciated, I may just buy a whole set) My engine block appears to have lower ring wear (?) as I'm getting excessive smoke & oil exiting the valve cover breather. I still have the original block and head in the shed. This is the biggest on the list. Will be missing spring driving for sure. Scott

  12. There's also that rivet that holds the end of the wound spring, that will let go, then the spring blows open. Possibly that could break the glass? Scott
  13. Jim, that's because this person sets out to do no-good. Very different circumstance, in my opinion. He's a master with a very long track record... Scott
