  3. Dan, You must be graduated by now. How did the summer project go?? Scott
  4. How sure are you that the original mileage is 40k? Is there documented history from 1976-on? It sounds like it may have 140k...?? Pictures of the car & motor would be very helpful. Congrats on your new car- Scott Sislane

  7. So not arms. Are they the enclosed style? Where replacing the rubber strip is not easy? Andrew, did I give you mine, like that?
  8. Blades or arms?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I couldn't keep the liner to stay put on that rear lip. It kept pulling off the inside. I ended up putting pinch trim over it. Worked perfectly & not noticeable. Scott

  11. They must cut the leather themselves huh? Looks really nice. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. I've run the IE dizzy combined with the street fire msd box, for 2 years. Sounds like the electronics are sensitive to voltage changes? (I also keep a mechanical dizzy with pertronix in the trunk.) Scott Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. From the length of the breather neck, I don't believe that would be for the Tii. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. I can't see a picture but sounds the same that I did. Making a second layer that supports the broken layer. Mine's held up for 10 years now. Scott Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. May 2013 the euro version (no holes for horns) 51 12 1 815 604 was $119.95. I think the US version was a few $'s less. Scott Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Is this a little more challenging to retrofit than a 245? Someone I know is looking for a 5 speed. He already got one of these & he ended up returning it to the seller. I thought it was due to the retrofitting involved...? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. I certainly didn't mean to do that. I must have missed that during my site sabbatical. Scott Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. two different people / two different businesses. Scott
  19. For anyone interested in good quality, I have to say the material of Chris' carpet set is fairly poor. Not a thick or dense loop. Esty has much better materials available. I bought a carpet set from both Chris and Esty. Esty's quality was superior. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. How is your ashtray holder / switch plate mounted? Looks like a custom enclosure? Normally there are screws on either side that come out, then the assembly pulls out so you have better access to the back. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. My 76 was originally Pastel Blau. It's color had been changed twice before I bought it. Although I love the non-stock color it is now (I even had the body restored in the 2nd color), I would rather have the original pastel blau. With fresh body work, paint and trim, it's a gorgeous color. And having the original color is always a good thing. Scott Sislane Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
