  1. Hey Curtis, The engine is completed but I sold my entire engine management system and have not had the time to install the MoTeC M84 yet. I think this engine is going to be strong and well prepared to handle the beating it will undergo. Jon Volk built me a custom tubular header so there will be no compromises this time. Got re-married about a year ago, been doing a ton of home renovations and tinkering with my new motorcycle. Just haven't had the time to sit down and re-wire the 2002. I really miss driving her but with work and family obligations there just isn't enough time to go around. Is your orange rocket running again? I am hoping to take a break from the house mods in September when the temperature begins to cool down and focus on the car again. Hope all is well. Kurt
  2. Why? Thanks for the interest but the Recaro seats have been sold. Happy New Year!
  3. Asking Price Part Description with links to individual threads. Everything must go before December 25th. These prices have been slashed to half of their previously advertised cost and buyer pays shipping. Ebenezer is returning after New Years. Get this stuff out of my garage so I can make room for new toys. $20.00 NIB Distributor cap and 6600 RPM rev limiting rotor. The rotor is P/N 12111355211 and sells for $35-$45 alone depending upon where you buy. $40.00 Slightly used M10 water pump. Unit was operated for 10K miles before I upgraded to the S14 unit. $125.00 Blitz Sequential Boost Controller with 1/2 DIN digital cockpit display. Note that anyone with a turbocharger will notice a significant improvement in boost modulation. This unit has two solenoids and really smooths out the actuation of the waste gate. $200.00 Front BBK http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,50/page,viewtopic/t,339086/ This stuff is going fast. Recaro seats, pertronix ignitor, main studs, suspension bushings and a few items that were not even advertised have already been sold. If you are writing to me asking questions about an item chances are good that it will be picked up by another forum member soon. Happy New Year!
  4. Dylan - I understand that you are disappointed and I apologize for the situation. The other buyer commented that he thought the bushings were gone based upon your response earlier that day when in fact you had not sent funds yet. This is an imperfect system because there is not mechanism to "Buy it Now" as on other sites. Just another example of my dilemma, more than a week ago another shopper stated the Pertronix and distributor cap were considered sold. Guess what, I have not heard from that individual since he posted he wanted the items. I have since sold the Pertronix to another buyer but the person who initially staked a claim has disappeared. Several months ago while selling my father's K1200GT I lost a sale in this same manner. Someone publicly asked a bunch of leading questions, offered to send a good faith deposit and discouraged 2 other potential buyers who were located a greater distance from my residence. After more than a week of waiting the prospect never came through and it took me another 5 weeks to find a buyer, just before the winter months came.
  5. Thanks Todd! I appreciate the endorsement. I have refunded the payment received from Dylan because payment was received from Erik in advance. Parts will go out later today. Sorry for the inconvenience Dylan but I don't like drawn out sales cycles. Too many people have said they were going to buy something, caused me to hold something and then changed their mind causing me lose another potential buyer. I wish everyone a pleasant holiday!
  6. That is exactly my point. I am getting bombarded with requests some public some private but until payment is received everything is up for grabs. Some guy in Colorado claimed to have cash in hand and agreed to send funds so I offered my paypal address. Guess what? He still has not sent a payment. If you want the bushing for $50 send the funds to "kurt.politowicz@verizon.net". It sucks when people stake a public claim and do not follow through. Time is money and if you want these parts first to transmit payment gets them. End of story I don't do dibs! Money talks!

Just to be crystal clear posting that something is sold and not sending funds does not protect your interest. Money talks and if you want to purchase something request payment information and lets dance. Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!!!
  8. It really does not matter. The Recaro seats have been sold and money has been collected. Thanks for the interest but great deals do not last.
  9. Hey - My Paypal email is "kurt.politowicz@verizon.net". Thanks again and be sure to include your shipping address because sometimes it is not displayed on Paypal. BTW - please do not forget to add 3% for Paypal money transfer fees or send the payment as a personal "gift" to avoid the fees. Thanks -
  10. I will be around next week, no need to ruin your Christmas man by driving over to Tampa. They don't have to be out by Christmas exactly, I was trying to move them out before next year starts. I really need to clean up my garage and if I drag the seats upstairs and store them in my attic they are never going to get sold. If you can drive over and get them I think that would be best. I can imagine that it is tough for most people to justify spending the seat cost just to ship the seats. Let me know - my paypal email address is "kurt.politowicz@verizon.net". The first person to pay gets the seats. Thanks for the interest.
  11. Ho ho ho! Absolutely ... .. . NOT! Let's call it $50 and you've got a deal. I am practically giving these parts away as it is. Paypal me $50 and your address and they will go out this afternoon. Thanks -
  12. I think shipping to GA would be relatively cheap. I was planning to box them up and stick them on a Greyhound bus. FedEx and UPS are crazy expensive. Last time I checked the buyer was in Chicago and Greyhound quoted me around $75 to ship each seat based on size and weight estimate. GA is much closer to FL so I can only assume it would cost less. Just to be safe I would assume $150 to ship the pair, $350 for both seats delivered to your nearest bus station. If shipping comes up any less I will refund the difference. Thanks for the interest - let me know what you decide.

  15. BNIB Petronix is still available. Paypal "kurt.politowicz@verizon.net" to transmit payment. This item will most likely fit in the small flat rate box so estimate roughly $8.00 for shipping and handling. I am heading to the UPS store in a few minutes to ship a couple other items so if you send funds soon this part can go out today. Thanks -

  17. Thanks for the purchase Todd! Fuel pump, main studs, ballast resistor and long coil wire have been sold and will be shipped this afternoon. FYI - if anyone wants to purchase an item you must confirm your intent by sending me a payment. Sounds silly but simply stating something is sold or telling me you want to buy something does not protect your interest. Thanks -

  19. There are about 4 days remaining for all of these items. Everything must go so if you ever had interest in any of these items now is the time. I plan to make a MoTeC ecu purchase soon before their annual price increase and am desperate to raise some cash. Thanks -
  20. These are OEM calipers that BMW installed on the tii and they will fit most 13" rims. Thanks for the interest -

  22. I know right? I shipped an e46 rear bumper across the country several years ago for like $40. I just called Greyhound and the attendant quoted me a price of $60-$90 depending on the zone inside the US for a 45 lb package with the dimensions of the seats. Since I have already spent $20 on boxes I am going to end up eating a little of the shipping costs because things never seem to hit the low side of an estimate. -later
  23. Just providing an update with respect to shipping. I have procured containers and weighed the seats. I have requested a few estimates and according to Greyhound shipping these seats to PA and MN will be almost $75 each. Unless you plan to pick up it looks as though shipping for both seats will be close to $150. Thanks -
  24. Yes! The Recaro seats are still available and looking for a new home. Thanks -
