    Yes, They were--the VINs beginning 270, the US models (276 . . .) started coming off the line in October after the EPA approved the emissions controls for the US market.
     
    Euro model 177 (2700177) was outfitted with the prototype US emissions stuff and sent to the EPA for approval, after which US production could begin. That car stayed in the US and t at last report, years ago, was in Michigan. Its story is here in the faq:
