    Your heater valve may be defective. I experienced similar symptoms and a new valve made it all good.

    Registration is now open for Vintage at Saratoga 2013. There are a few changes for this year, most notably the move from July to October. This will enable V@S to become a part of two other BMW centered events at the Saratoga Automobile Museum. First we will have the opportunity to enjoy the cars on the floor of the museum. This BMW themed exhibit will include art cars, pre-war cars and a few examples from one of the worlds most prominent collections of BMW motorcycles. This weekend will also be the start of the BMW Vintage and Classic Car Club's fall holiday. They have planned a week long series of drives centered in the Saratoga area, and they will join us for a Meet and Greet dinner on Saturday night. This tour will also include significant cars from BMWs history. While these events are all stand alone, Saratoga will be the focal point of vintage BMWs, and we welcome you to be a part of it all.     I have been using the BavAuto springs on my car for a few years, courtesy of Bill Williams. They were quite an improvement over stock. I believe they will be even better this spring when I install Bilstien sport shocks.

    Thanks! I wasn't sure what that cross hatched circle meant. I guess it should have been obvious. It's not easy getting old.

    Does any one know what size the holes should be?

    My Pertronix failed while I was trouble shooting my fuel injection install. It took a while to figure out what the problem was. I guess it was just a bad coincidence.

    Why start doing it the easy way at this point. We want everything to be as difficult as possible. Perhaps I should repaint to the original color.

    Yes, I am putting the trim on. I have always been unhappy that I didn't install it when I did the restoration. Back then I was hesitant to drill holes in the new body panels. Bob, thanks for the info, that is what I needed to know.

    Does anyone have a pattern or diagram that shows where to space the holes when drilling for the trim clips? I just found the drawing for the door in Macartney's book, I still need the measurements for the rest of the car.
