  1. We'll see it again soon. Quick mtr rebuild, dust off and detail and priced at $20+k.
  2. OR, a shower curtain rod from Walmart😉
  3. There was a USA version?
  4. With just 25,556 actual documented miles (41,128 KM), this BMW 2002 is a collector's dream! Really!😂
  5. What happened to the car the parts were in - 2761579 ??
  6. Was your car retrieved from a lake? Can't imagine that happening without a severe water/rain leak.
  7. You would have thought he'd fixed his keyboard by now.
  8. Pretty sure I have one in the garage. If you can make it to Manchester, TN, you can have it. Let me know if you still need and I'll root it out.
  9. Bellow are excepts of the Seller's story when it was on Ebay in April 2022. The Seller was Mystique Motors, Moorpark, CA. (may have been on consignment?). No mention of an Uncle. 1972 bmw 2002 Golf yellow Runs and drives great I bought this car at 16yrs old drove it for 5 years until a guy pulled me over and paid me a large amount of money for it at 21 while I was in my first year of college... I bought it back at 29yrs old in 2021.. hate to sell it but planning to have a kid soon and need a safer car for my wife and I. I changed the oil on it every 3k miles Starts right up I used this Bmw as a daily driver Drove it everywhere everyday never has it given me a problem Never over heats and you can drive 3 to 4 hours straight long distance. Sun roof opens and closes no problem All electrical works including dome light. No rocker rust no strut tower rust no floor pan rust. Little tid bits of surface rust here and there. Shipping available anywhere in US Call or txt pat or Scotty for additional questions 8043492999 8054905217 Car is at our Moorpark ca 93021 location
  10. Seems to me, Sellers in CA appear to (try &) set the price of most "02 parts. JMHO.
  11. FWIW When the car was in Canada and WA it had the famous 'snorkle'. Later, in CA, it had (at least) a repaint and the 'snorkle' disappeared. @RJT79 if you would like what pictures I have, PM me with your email & I'll send them to you.
  12. I've heard of cheap, but, that's ridiculous. A used USA blinker (what you have) is no more than a few $$. Place an ad in the 'Wanted" section.
  13. Apparently I pissed Mr Ed off too. Seems it's real easy to do. Ed Jenkins 24 Started conversation: 12 hours ago I do not remember asking for your opinion or some of the other useless drivel that flows here. Get a life and but out.
  14. Really!? You must be a politician. I thought I was the only one who had problem with a couple of the pics, so I've assumed it's my computor settings.
  15. It's been around! Since 2015 it seems to have passed from one Dealer to another. B.C. Canada in 2015, then WA, CA, FL and now MO. Don't know anything bad about the car, but it does seem the selling price is always somewhat over the top. It was stated to have had a body resto in 2011 at approx 150+k miles, before that I have no clue.
  16. That looks like the Touring sport paket blinker with the single 21w bulb. The USA blinker had two bulbs, 21w and 4w. Part no. 63 13 1 354 558 (right side)
  17. You guys must have better computor or eyesight than me. Cracks not obvious in pics 1 or 2 Cracks obvious in pics 3 & 4. Only way I could really see cracks in pic 1 was to 'enhance' the pic (see below), but, not everyone knows how or can do this. Perhaps use better lighting next time, but, what do I know!
  18. It's not getting warmer outside so........here's a few pics of other Tourings to give you an idea. I have never seen a BMW picture showing the jack and lug wrench in position(the Touring Supplement doesn't show anything). The jack is kinda obvious, but the lug wrench is anyone's guess. I have the jack/lug wrench similar to the first pic sitting on some foam, and my jack is adjusted so that if I have to use it, I don't have to wind it up/down for 5 minutes to get it placed under the sill/rocker. The tool roll can also be situated with the jack but I keep mine in the cubby to the right. HTH.
  19. My Touring from 1988 (1st refurb) to 2016 (2nd refurb) had no problems wih BMW's screw earthing. So I continue to use that method. If it ain't broke, why fix it?
  20. Yes, same tool kit. Give me a while to get a picture, it's fffff-freezing here at the moment.
  21. Do you have a need for a certain shot? Maybe I can help.
  22. Yes, but only the touring script is original to the Touring. The 16oo script is not, but, far more collectible, and, no doubt, more $$$.
  23. THE touring script is original (obviously) to the Touring, but the 16oo script is not.
  24. I would tread carefully. I checked 2 of the 2002s and 2 of the 2002tiis on my spreadsheet. All 4 were on Bring-a-Trailer either in 2021 or 2022 and the pictures shown come from the BAT auctions.
