Hi Steve, I have a 67 1800. Do you know any contacts for a parted out 1800? Does 2002 AD have 1800 stock?

Looking for 1973 BMW 2002 Big Brake kits, Coil overs and 5 lug conversion
-
I am not aware of the 5-lug conversions, but the big break conversions are available from several vendors. You can find some of them at https://www.bmw2002faq.com/vendors/
If you have more questions, you can always ask in the Forum. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/forum/8-bmw-2002-and-other-02/

Hi Steve, I just wanted to let you know that Paul Winterton's cousin, Ronnie Musoke will be signing up a new memeber in the next day or so. I will try to help him as much as I can, so I may have a few questions if I get stumped.
Regards...Mike

Good evening. I am a bit of a rookie on this forum and have a question for you. Is it appropriate or possible to post a “wanted”for a part that I am looking for on the classifieds board? I appreciate your input. Thx!
-
Absolutely. There is a Parts wanted section in the classifieds.

Is there a way for me to move a post I made to a different forum?

Hi Steve,
I would like to post a comment on the Pacific Northwest forum page.
For some reason, I am unable to do so.
I "am" able to start a new message under cars and parts for sale and under parts wanted, but, for some reason, I am unable to do so under the PNW forum page. I am not finding the "start a new topic" box on the PNW forum page.
It appears that I am logged in, (under Gprotto) so not sure what I am doing wrong.
Your help is most appreciated.
Thank you,
Gary Protto

Hi Steve-
I think you are the correct person to address this with. I am having issues with the PM function and have noticed another member mentioned the same issue this morning. When you try to populate the body of the message it won't allow any text to be entered and in the form it looks as if the text box doesn't even exist.
thanks

Dear Steve,
I am realy sorry to disturb you, but I need your help. I am building 2002 Ti for rcaing, and I am interested for conversion of rear brakes. All parts I have, I just miss the rear disc brake bracket, I know the thickness, but this all what I know. To order it from US is very problematic for me, soquestion is if it will possible to send me an drawing in vectors (if it exist) I should let it do on CNC here in Europe.
Many thanks for your reply.

Thanks so much for this website. It is invaluable. I recently purchased a 75 2002, and it is simply indispensable. The people and camaraderie made this decision to purchase a 40+ year old car much easier.

Hi, I am having problems with the site. I cannot reply to PM's, nor can I start any new posts. I can go through the process to start one, but I Cannot enter anything in the dialog box. I tried to submit this through the site problems tag, but cannot do that either.
Thanks

I had one more person who reported something similar. It was computer dependent. Worked fine on the laptop, but not desktop. Can you see if you can clear all your browser cache and cookies. If that does not fix the problem, can you disable all browser extensions and see of that resolves things.
Thanks,
Steve K

great looking car. I added the video to the collection http://www.bmw2002faq.com/videos/

well, it's not the diff that is busted. Looks like its a busted stub axle
-
i still have the broken axle. I can clean it and take a photo. I can write up a little explanation. But it is mostly due to the amount of grip that the car has and the amount of time the rear wheels spend in the air and then land on the pavement. After replacing the stub axles i think i found a new victim, and i think this time it is the diff.
