I'm in the market for 13x6 wheels, and was trying to do the math for the correct baseline offset specs. So I know on a 7 inch wide wheel, +25mm offset is ideal. Then that means on a 6 inch wide wheel, i'd divide that 1 inch difference in half, convert that half inch to mm, and subtract that from +25mm (7" wide ideal offset), right? I think my logic is sound here, but want to lean on the experts on this forum lol. .5" = 12.7mm 25mm - 12.7mm = 12.3mm, or round up for an ideal offset of +13mm on 6 inch wide wheels?

Hi Forum! As the title states. I am looking to buy 4 factory 13” BMW BBS wheels like the one pictured below. Must be in usable shape. Original patina is great. I am located in Fresh Meadows, NY 11366. As close to local would be awesome but I’m willing to pay for shipping if you have a nice set. Let me know what you have. Thank you!!!!

I had a look at the centre caps that came with the wheels and they were a bit shot, I wasn't happy with the finish at all. I've seen some limited edition centre caps online that some JDM cars are running in yellow rather than chrome, and I thought they looked awesome. I sent WORK Wheels UK /Driftworks an email last week on the off chance they had one or two left in stock (not likely as they were launched in 2017 and were really popular) and they came back and said they didn't. But the ones I had were so shot I thought why not... I'll paint them! Here's the inspiration. I tried to get as good match as possible but yellow is a hard colour to match, especially with different primer colours etc. In the end I went for the brightest yellow I could on a white plastic primer. Here's the products I went for! Lightly keyed the caps up with some grey scotch brite. Wiped them down with some panel wipe. A couple of light coats of white primer and then hit the yellow with three good coats (15/20 minute intervals between each) and then three really good coats of lacquer using the same process. The reason I've lacquered the yellow is that I plan on keying these up tomorrow once they've dried overnight and then hitting them with the black. I'll then get some wet n dry fine sandpaper and really gently sand the black back to yellow on the parts I want exposed. It saves on masking and messing around with bleeding edged etc. plus you can be far more accurate. The lacquer also doubles up as an extra layer of protection against running through to the primer or the black underneath on the really fine detail of the logo. Just in case anyone else is planning on spraying something similar! I'll update the thread tomorrow with the results, when I've rubbed through to the black underneath and had to start again Anyway, whilst I was waiting for some paint to dry I couldn't resists and had to see what the Cobra RSR's would look like with the OMP harnesses as I've so far resisted the urge to unpack anything properly... I think it's going to look fantastic! You'll notice there's a yellow highlight theme running through the entire build, which I'm really liking. I think with the black paint and the wheels it lends a really 70's look which I like a lot, exactly what I had in mind when I started the build! Thanks for reading.

I just bought a set of new OEM hubcaps and they came with an additional set of 4 smaller hubcaps. They don’t have a part number. Any idea what model they belong to?

Wanted 15" a set of Corrado wheels, preferably without tires. Thanks! Tom

So I found four FPS bottle cap wheels. These are 5 inch rim width version, not the 5.5 inch that came on the 2002 turbo. Aside from that, appearance wise, they are the same. the guy that owns them is “considering” and has asked me to make an offer. one has been painted (a test restoration)and the other three of not restored. any suggestions on a fair offer?

MSW Type 1930A 6J14H 2E39 wheels by OZ Racing Good shape, no curb rash, have all center caps. The mounted 195/60R14 tires appear to be at least 20 years old - but I will include for free if anyone wants them. They have great tread and no signs of cracking / dry rot anywhere. With these tires, on my stock suspension, there is no rubbing. I'm open to a trade for some 14" or 13" Panasports or Minilites. If there is any interest I will take more/better pictures.

Hey Faq - I am trying replace these center wheel caps or find a generic cap in the same dimensions that I can stick a roundel on - and curious if any of you know what the make of these wheels are and where I can go to find some caps? Googling the serial number didn't seem to come up with anything similar. Someone on the faq previously told me he thought my wheels were from American Racing but I am not entirely sure.

I have a beautiful set of four 6" x15", 29 ETA, 4 x 100 Rota wheels designed to fit perfectly on our 2002's for the Alpina look while running more modern and more affordably priced 15" lower profile tires. I purchased these for my tii, then decided to stick with stock wheels and tires... The Rota wheels are painted with black centers and have small hubcaps for the Alpina look. I purchased Alpina logo inserts to replace the Rota inserts. They look great. You can run 195-55/15 tires without interference without rolling the fenders. Lots of high performance summer tire options in the $100 range. The wheels are in original boxes, so you can pick up at my house or I can ship to you and charge you the actual shipping cost. Contact me for a shipping estimate based on your location.

Can any of you detail geeks decipher the date code if there is one on this wheel? Thanks, Mike

Is anyone familiar with 5 1/2"Jx14" NK wheels? They appear to be standard NK wheels otherwise and have a manufacturing date of 1 68. I thought that they were 4" for NKs except for 4 1/2" on ti, tilux and cs. Alex

All – I would like to take a set of stock Kronprinz 4.5x13 et35 and widen them to 6x13 keeping the face the same so I can use stock hubcaps. Instead of new barrels, Stockton Wheel says it will add 1.5” of material to the middle of the existing barrel section of the rim. Doing this will move the inner edge of the rim and the tire closer to the shock tower both front and back. How can I know if I have room for that addition if it all goes on the back side of the rim? If it ends up too close, can I use longer lug bolts and spacers? Thanks, Stuart

These Rotas came on the 02 I purchased recently. I replaced them with BBS RMs and swapped the tires over. They are very nice, but not flawless. Some minor paint chips from lug nuts removal/mounting on one, and some small tar specks on another that I could not remove with basic wheel cleaner (but may come off with more effort). The car was barely driven on these as it mostly sat at my mechanic’s while he rebuilt the suspension and installed big brakes. I have sold modern BMW and MINI parts on other forums in the past, and have bought and sold high-end handbuilt scale model cars on eBay for years (Apex328). I obviously prefer local pick up, but I have shipped wheels/tires in the past and can get a cost for that.

These wheels are on a car thats local to me. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the width on these and how rare or available these are. They look like a stock wheel but seem wider to me.

Trying to identify the make/model of the wheels that came on my '72 2002 targa. They are 6x13 with no identifying info on the wheels themselves. The center caps (which may or may not be original to the wheels) have raised lettering "R.B." and "Milano." The BMW logo was painted onto the caps, apparently by a toddler. The car spent the first 45 years of its life in Milan. Anyone recognize them?

Interested in finding a set of Beyern Mesh 15x7 wheels for the 2002. Perhaps you installed them and didn't like them? Located in Virginia Beach for what its worth.

Looking to order a set of Beyern Mesh 15x7 wheels with 195/50R15 tires. According to the shop, TSW (manufacturer) says they need spacers to fit. Looking through the FAQ, I can't find any mention of those wheels with spacers from people who have installed them. Anyone have this wheel and can confirm one way or the other?
