Nice!! That is a clone of Mike Self's 1969 Nevada 2002 by the name of Wolfgang. You two should talk. He's had it since he purchased it new in NY state.

Yeah, it does look familiar--it's a really late '69 or an early 70 as it has polished wheel covers, and most (if not all) the 69s had silver-painted wheel covers that gave 'em a frosted look.  Of course the paint started to peel after about 9 or so months, so most owners just stripped the paint and polished 'em. According to my VIN listings it's the 40th from the last '69 1600 off the line.  Any idea as to whether the wheel covers are original t the car?


Nice car.  Nevada looks good either clean or dirty, 'cause it's dirt colored.  Just clean up the wheel covers and bumpers and the whole car looks clean!

i'll look more closely through the binder to see if the covers are originals

think they were replaced at some point ... i remember seeing it in the binder during the purchase ... but don't remember the date


it is registered and monikered as a 69 ...
