KMAC assembly question

All the KMAC threads I found were about the upper plate that sandwiches the fender...

When assembled, my KMAC adjustable camber plates seem to bind on the upper spring perch. That is the black spring perch (bottom of parts photo) binds on the silver KMAC ring with the studs pressed in (second from bottom). These two parts have to move independently, I think, because the studs are obviously fixed to the fender and the spring perch moves with the spring and shock as you adjust castor/camber. When assembled with the stock bearing you can see from the pic they don't touch, but with the KMAC bearing they do (other photo).

The individual parts photo shows the order I have everything assembled. What am I doing wrong?

I would add a washer between the upper spring cap and the KMAC to raise it up. You will not need much.

Yep that did it. I wasn't sure if I was assembling them incorrectly, but a 4.5mm washer has cleaned things up.
