I ready for the beating bring it on. I bought a raido on feabay. Period correct German stereo $100 or so. Bought then to conpound my stupidity I see the have an adapator for mp3, hell yes, I a knocklehead, 80 bucks. Eventually it all arrives. I'm giddy. Upon investigation it goes down like an anvil. The mp3 will not plug into the radio. I email Franz in German and kindly as for an exchange for a stereo model that will accept the mp3. Nein, no exchange. I email again saying I'll pay the shipping both ways and the upgrade. Nein, no exchange. My 3rd email is much sharper, Fritz ever here of customer service, This should be no skin off your hide, do the deal and lets move on. No response. So ebay has an equal in the Fatherland.

It sucks, but it's not the seller's fault, and it's extra time and trouble for him. It would be nice if he would exchange it, but he has no obligation to do so. Sorry.

I understand your angst, but many of us in the US don't understand that customer service in Germany is unfortunately nonexistent with some vendors. Sometimes persistence pays off, and I always pay with PayPal who has saved my bacon twice from non-shipping German eBayers (one of whom listed the same item a month later).--Jim
