Windshield is very loose on the bottom drivers side.

I was looking at the driver's side corner and noticed a gap btwn the windshield and frame, went inside and was pushing and proding around trying to get the windshield to adhere to frame, and OOPS! the lower portion of the windshield detached itself from the frame from the drivers corner to midpoint.

From the outside it appears the seal no longer made contact onto the frame, it looked like the seal was rolled in (probably too old and lost or losing some its elasticity).

Question, Is it possible to situate the windshield back to the original position (Pinkerton) without having to take out the entire windshield? If so, can you describe how to go about.

Or is it recommended to take it out reinstall with a new window seal?

We are using the lockstrip tool in the top (2) pictures of my reply. Matthew Cervi owns the tool and helped me along with Bill Williams and Bill Riblett.

We tried installing the lockstrip in the gasket first, but it wouldn't go in correctly, so we put the (new) glass and seal in first, then the lockstrip.
