Rubber base wedge part found in wiper motor box

....and look at the THUMP marks on

one side of the pictured wedge,

you might see black rubber transfer

to the contact point on the wiper

linkage where the contact was made?

Yeah, I went out to shoot a pic of the heater fan motor for a guy a couple of posts ago and seen that laying in the wiper motor box.

Not good when you go to shoot a pic and find parts falling off your car. I was looking at it and said no way is this from the 02. Some mouse or squirrel must have stashed it.

Know better than to throw shit away. I looked it up on Max and it is NLA.

When I pulled my wiper assembly, the "block" was petrified but still stuck to the cowl. I removed it when the wiper linkage hit the underside of the windshield area. I bet someone who is parting out a car has a good pic.
