where does washer pump go?

I have a '76 and it appears that the PO removed the washer pump and connected fuluid directly to the bottle. Hence no squirt action. Does anyone have a picture or diagram of where the pump is suppose to go?

Also, I see two leads that I assume went to the old pump, does anyone know which color wire goes to which connection on the pump?

It mounts to a bracket on the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir

The pump mounts directly to the bottle underneath on a small bracket screwed in. The lead hoses just attach to the pump. You cant't see it in the picture but the pump is mounted under the bottle.

so that the pump will "pump" vs "not pump." Trial and error is easy, or look for markings on the pump that will elicit the proper connection.
