wiper wiring help - no existing harness...

Hi all,

I've scoured the forums for details on how to wire wipers from scratch and haven't found what I need.

I've got a 76 with the 4 position switch/stalk, the relay on the left in the picture below, a wiper motor... and zippo existing wiring. Thanks to http://www.my2002tii.com/wiper_how-to.htm for the relay photo!

I'm the superhappy new owner of Charley's M20 swap (http://double02.xanga.com), but now that the car lives in Seattle, I need some wipers where there had been none before.

Ok, you have no wiring harness connections?? It's possible to wire this up from scratch - I suggest buying the terminal ends - if available from BLUNT or supplier of your choice to make this easier to connect and troubleshoot - eventually. I've attached a 76 wiring diagram. If you wire up the components as shown, this should work fine. Be real careful when identifying the terminal connections. I would use color coded wiring and labels. You might also want to color code or redraw the circuts between components to make the wire-up easier. All terminals follow DIN standards. Best of luck with the project.

Thanks, Dave! I can kinda read those pin numbers, so I'm hoping that I can connect it how it seems to read and things will be ok.
