After years with this girl and getting screwed over I have decided to nominate my 2002 as my new gf.

At least the money will be going somewhere useful and that I enjoy. We share the same feelings, like to go on drives and have a good time.

hmmm... a 2002 as a girlfriend. Lets see:

Appearance : May need cosmetics to look her best. Insides depends on how rough it gets used. Should be bathed frequently, no matter what. After a while they all need facelifts, so save up.

Trust/reliability : Can be high maintenance, needs to have the best when it needs attention but then will reward you ("love you long time baby") over and over. Watch out if you try to use 2nd hand stuff, she will let you know ...

Consumes : The better you feed her and the more often you lube her the better. Checking the sump every day is a good idea.

Performance : You can get more out of her, depends how much you are willing to spend for your own pleasure.

Response : Remember you will get the best whenever you use good quality rubber (otherwise the tail will come out unexpectedly, esp when wet)

Competition : She is not as sleek as the new models but she was once (and forever) Best In Class and an Original and you can always be proud when seen with her.
