Last summer I cleaned out my collection of 2002 bits (most of it went to the junkyard. I totally screwed up a deal where a really great club member tried to buy the NOS sheet metal. I got emotional about the 02, reneged on the sale, and hauled it all back to NE thinking, "someday I'll have time to restore this shell." Right, what a load of baloney. I can't believe I didn't sell this stuff to that cca member. If you're out there, I f**ked up.

Anyway, I'm trying to face reality and get sell these body parts. I need the space for a friend (to store his old Herald).

Used Hood: from a '76 polaris 2002. the seams were rusty but I blasted and repainted back in 1990. There's a little bit of rust coming back out in a few spots along the seam. No rust at all on the exterior. LOTS of pics available.

Used Trunk Lid: Amazingly clean after 24 years. 1 spot along the seam is showing surface rust (I poked at it with an awl, it's surface). and 4-6 spots of surface rust on the top side (1/8" in diam). Otherwise clean, rust free, dent-free. Lots of pics available.

Used front fenders: rolled lips to accomodate 185 tires. 2 very very small spots of surface rust at the bottom rear inside where it touches the outside of the rocker panel. The rest is perfectly clean. Lots of high res pics available.

Used driver's door: very clean, zero rust anywhere, no dents or dings. Pics available.

NOS: hood and trunk lid. Bought from BMW dealer 20 years ago and stored in the attic of a dry barn. Perfect condition with the parts label still attached.

Prices - make me any reasonable offer

P.S. I also have a '73 tii w sunroof as a rolling shell (w suspension/steering/brakes/glass). No powertrain. No rust, but it needs plenty of elbow grease (1 small, 1 med, 1 large dent, some surface rust on the top). It has an NOS early nose and tail already tacked on.
