I fixed the rust in my gas tank!

So last week I bought two vintage BMW motorcycles at an estate sale. Because they had sat for a while (1996) the tanks were rusty. I went online and did some research and found this product called Rusteco and ordered a bottle. http://www.rusteco.com/

It was expensive, but it works. Well worth the money $145.00 and you can use it over and over again. This stuff is non-toxic, doesn't eat paint or plastic and you can dip your hands into it. The BMW tank I did was 6.5 gallons, so I pored it back into two clean paint buckets for future use. The inside of my tank is now shinny silver metal. I followed the simple directions and let it sit/soak for three days and then used a friends pressure washer.

I am super impressed!!!!!

Sorry no pictures.
