the new Isetta 2010

If BMW America opts to import this p.o.s. before importing the 1 series diesel I will be EXTREMELY...ambivalent. I have no plans to buy either of those new fangled EZ Bake Oven wannabe's. I have a '76 2002. It's currently lacking a few nice-to-haves that the modern cars boast--things like a motor, trans, driveshaft, exhaust, front suspension, seats, steering wheel, and a few other bells and whistles, but it's real and it's available here and now. By the time I'm done working on my 2002, it will probably cost me more than a new 1 series diesel or Isetta, a have a resale value approximating that of a fire-damaged VCR. But it will have soul, and possibly wheels. And that's enough for me.

OK. I admit that I would like a 1 series diesel. But I would like my 2002 more. And it would be easier to tune the carbs on my 2002. And that's enough for me.

Hey, you can always put a BMW diesel engine in your 2002, why bother waiting for 1 series which will cost you 40K? You would kill two birds with one stone.
