Timing Help

Recommended Posts

I need it.

Being a noob I took it all apart during my exhaust fixing shenanigans and despite putting it back together how I thought it went, it still does not run.

I need an idiot proof guide to timing, I've never worked on a distributed car, and I honestly hate it right now.

Any help would be appreciated.

To anyone in the denver metro area, I will feed you and buy you a tank of gas if you can set it right and it runs.

The car is a 1975 with a Tii distributor.

Roland ! Be of 02 FAITH ! it's now 2010,

and you will have a better 02 year.

Breath deep, close your eyes, and re read all that is presented here.

It is hard to help you remotely - so many variables,

and sometimes just one tiny step incorrect is all that is holding

you - and your m10 from singing.

even though I present some tii content here - the

basics ARE THE SAME for establishing TopDeadCenter.

Inthe end, you will need a timing light for your last step

in setting the ignition firing point accurately. So you'll have

the best power, performance, fuel economy, less engine wear.

Thanks for the info. This is definitely something I'm going to need someone to come help me with as I do not have the technical knowledge to do this myself. If not, she'll get towed to the shop next week.

Hmm im still a youngin around these parts. But this is far from my first carb and dizzy car. Im near Quebec and I-70 so i can get anywhere pretty easy. Let me know if you would like a little help. Im free the rest of the day and most of tomorrow.

That would be awesome. If you could call me/send me a text I would really appreciate it.
