New Klippan seat belts SOLD/all sold only one pair left

The truth is that, whether we like it or not, more than 90% of seat belts (Repa, Autoliv, Klippan) are made in China under licenses from European and US seat belt manufacturers. I have several buckles, labeled as made by Klippan, TRW and a no name manufacturer (label section is empty but it is Chinese made) . They are all identical! It is quite possible to send a Chinese manufacturer the seat belt specs you want and they will make it, down to the screws and plastic covers (as the original repa or Autoflug etc). Problem is volume, they won't take you seriously unless you are ordering 1000 units at a minimum. I have already investigated. Even sent documents with pictures and model #s of old repa retractors and buckles to a few places, with no positive results, except for a few retractor samples I received (they are nice). I have since been working with a US designer/seat belt manufacturer for a new seat belt design for 2002s, we will have the prototypes soon (including rear seat belts). But they won't be as inexpensive as Chinese belts unfortunately. In the mean time, I will keep looking for NOS stuff stuck in some corner of a warehouse in Europe, US or Canada like the group buy belts I have sold (including this one). We shall see.
