Some of the E28 guys are getting together in either Gainesville or Yahlaha/ Howie in the Hills for a drive/ social thing the last Sat. of Feb. I thought it would be a good idea to include the 02 crowd. I will post something as we get the format and location nailed down. Since we are lucky enough to actually be able to get out for a drive when the rest of the EC has their cars stored, it might be a good opportunity to blow the cobwebs out of your exhaust. I haven't driven the M2 since Thanksgiving and am looking forward to lighting it up next week when I get back to Fl.

Looks like the plan is to meet at Yahala Bakery at 10:00, Cars and Coffee until 1:00, a short drive over to JB Boondocks (cool little place on the lake) for a group lunch, and then a spirited 55 min drive to the Garlits Racing Museum in Ocala. This is really close for you Orlando guys. Good chance to meet some nice folks and see some cool cars. Please go to mye28.com (general discussion section) for details and to sign up.

Helps that a few of us are also 02 guys! Look forward to seeing you there. Bring your friends. If this works out, we may do a couple more events this year (probably a track event in Gainesville in the Fall and the Sebring Historics in Dec). A group of us get together a few times a year. Thought it was a good time to expand the group a bit.
