it's been five years..

since i've really been into my 02s.. but i'm back! i don't know if any of you remember me, or were here 5 years ago, but i used to be on here all the time. i typed up the vin chart that is still on the site! it's been so long, though, that i couldn't remember my old long in/password, so i made a new account.

i have a little 73 inka that messed up the nose on, and a yellow 76 that a board member gave to me as a rolling shell that i started to build.

i ended up moving away to go to school and left the 02s behind. i kinda forgot about them a little bit, at least forgot the joy they brought me. i recently moved to sacramento and 02s are everywhere here! there's one parked across the street from my house right now!

needless to say, i've been bitten by the bug again.

are any of the sacramento 02 owners on here? i figure there must be, going by how many i have seen here.

my cars are currently up on my dad's land in coos bay oregon, but if i can find a place to work on them i would like to bring them down and start wrenching again.

sorry for the long winded post! i'm just happy to see the faq still going, and better than ever it looks like!

are any of the sacramento 02 owners on here? i figure there must be, going by how many i have seen here.

regularly - myself, Norm, Tom Jones, Joseph (in Chico), Charlie Mac, and others. At one time there was a group that got together every 2-3 months for Sunday breakfast, but there hasn't been much interest in reactivating that activity recently.

Last year we had 4 cars drive down to LA for the Vintage BMW meet in the fall, and most years there's a small group drive to the Bay Area '02 Swap and Show in May; usually there are at least one or two '02 guys at the monthly EuroSunday get togethers as well (4th Sunday of every month except Dec - next one is at the Pavillions on Fair Oaks Blvd between Howe & Fulton on Jan 24th).

I'm out in Fair Oaks (close to Hazel & 50) - I see at least a half dozen '02's around pretty regularly, but most of them are folks I've never met.
