and after 28 years of jacking - folks need to stop

placing lifting pads, and jack stands at that point -

your not doing your subframe/noises/free flexing

of the mount any favors - see how it's also bent

up against the subframe ?

I do that all the time- the stands capture the end of the

bolt and the nut that drop down and support the car nicely.

Bleah!

(yes, I modified a set of stands to do it without damaging the

'double shear converters', but admitting that takes half the fun

out of it...)
