All I Want for Christmas is a Sebring Muffler!

And I got it! Had it installed yesterday on my '76. Kept the resonator (or upstream muffler). Was able to use the original rubber exhaust mounts. For those wondering (as was I) the sound is terrific! Not too loud, moderately louder than stock, but not obnoxious. Mellow, not raspy. Just right. For those who remember, it sounds like a 60s/70s MGB. Similar, but louder than a Miata.

Bought it from Rob at 2002haus in San Luis Obispo CA, but it was his last one. There may be other suppliers, but couldn't find one. All stainless steel with 2-inch connections. Rob had welded the proper geometry pipes to each end, so it fit perfectly. Check out the pictures. Only downside is the shiny polished muffler itself - too much bling for an '02 - may draw attention from the rice-rocket crowd until it gets dirty. Think I should leave the pipe end raw or add a chrome tip? Don't want the coffee can look.
