Actually, if you notice on your email notifications, you have a choice to link up to the thread, or a second choice at the bottom to "stop watching" the thread. I have sometimes clicked the bottom link that "unwatches".. on accident.. in my fiendish daze to see what's new.

Otherwise, be sure to scroll to the bottom and click "watch this topic" for each thread you want notifications via email.

Oh, and it seems that if you reply or start a thread, you get notifications automatically.

Hi Bill,

If I'm thinking right about the sound you are talking about, it drove me nuts.

It was doing it when I used the back button or hit enter or many other functions I did. It did sound like a shutter click....

Go to control panel, hit sounds & audio devices, hit sounds tab,

second window scroll down till you see windows explorer. Under that the last item is the "start Navigation" highlight that, it will open up the third window and you will see "Windows Navigation Start" with a right arrow & the browse button. Click on the right arrow & you will hear the shutter click every time you do. While the start Navigation is still highlighted in the second window go up to the first window and click no sounds. hit apply then close and you can forget about it....

Kinda hard to describe but if you don't get my rambling let me know and I will go through the motions myself as it was a while ago that I took care of that annoying click.

Trash,

I will try your advice and see what I come up with. Thanks.
