Front SEATS

Okay this might sound pretty dumb but I seriously have spent a good six or more hours trying to take out the passenger seat off my 02 70.

I easily unscrewed the front bolts. Then the back ones are what kept me struggling. I got some good advice saying slide the seat all the way forward on the rails so I can access the screws in the back. I sat on the seat pulled the lever and got the seat to move forward a bit. Not enough. Then I pushed up even harder but it wouldn't budge. I got a friend to sit in the back seat and push the seat while I pushed and it still wont move. I think Im going to clean the rails. Im not sure how but maybe that will work. any advice?

WD-40, and lots of it. spray it on, then slide back and forth

Try putting the Front bolts back and then slide seat forward a few times. when the fronts were out the sliders may have moved a little and caused you issue, usually this is a 10min gig, have fun

I was thinking that too.

Yea seriously I thought it was gonna take me no more than 30 min but Im at about 6 hours haha.

THE SEAT IS GONEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im so happy! It just took some more strength. My friend dropped by and we pushed the crap out of the seat and it slid to the front!! Got the screws out and was so happy it was gone.

I have to do some adjustments to put in the seats I have.

Bad news. I looked at the front of the car and noticed a gap where the light is. I will take picture when I get my camera.
