Water leak??

Hi guys. I am getting leak by the front of the motor by the outlet of the water pump. Is this possible of water pump failure? I just installed the cyl head from a valve job also replaced the thermostat. I started the car and run a few blocks then noticed water leaking. Do I just replaced the water pump or try bleeding the coolant? How do you guys bleed it? You think I might have gotten a bad thermostat? please advice me. Thank you

yep sounds like the water pump is leaking and in need of replacement.,

If you peer down at the water pump from above, you can see a 2mm hole in the water pump case. This is a weep hole. If the water pump is shot, water will run out of this hole once the engine gets hot. If not, maybe you lucked out and have a loose hose connection somewhere.
