i need help with a carpet measurement

would someone that owns an automatic do me a huge favor...and measure from the gas pedal over to the brake pedal lever....i'm not exactly sure that i've been cutting the pads for automatics correctly and sure would like to know the spacing....it looks like it's farther left than the brake on the stick

Esty; Both my ' 75 automatic and my wife's ' 76 automatic measure 3¼" center-of-slot to center-of-slot. Hope this helps.

thanks a bunch...i just got that same measurement in the mail from ken...that puts the brake pedal on an automatic + or - an 1/8", in the same spot as the clutch on a stick
