Hi everyone,

I was doing my daily free time fleabay search when I came across these.

They look quite cool, has anyone used them before here?

I'm looking for a picture of how they would look on the car...

Anyway let me know what you think...

Cheers, and happy holidays!!

Bruce

Hey esty,

I must say I'm a bit of a purist myself but I must confess I am a bit curious of how the would look on a finished car...

They look like a nice touch, and as you said, they should really look good in a dark car.

I'm sure they're gonna look great on your car...

Hi Bruce!

Happy holidays to you too.

Another thing they can be used for is hiding "blemishes" though I do not recommend it.

ps. Did you ever get the quote for the steering box parts?

Hey Arden!

Yes I actually did, but the price was way too high (around 800 bucks), they said that the time it would take them to do the machine work was way to high, doing it in a 3 axis machine should be much cheaper, the thing is that I don't have access to that technology here...

Anyway, I still think that it can be done if we work together...

There was a local Agave tii owned by a long time BMW enthusiast (who currently drives a supercharged E39 540i) that had those and it didn't look bad.

I might have pics of it, since he owned it for over 20 years. I'll check and will post them if I find them.
