Gas Pedal Base Bracket

Rust in floor pan also consumed the bracket with the two ball studs that mounts the base of the gas pedal. Any suggestions or salvaged bracket available?

I have posted my solution couple of times. I haven't actually tested it yet but it should work.

When your finished wanting to do it the right way, you can always fudge it until you've got the timeand$..........I hinged mine....I found a stainless gate hinge at the hardware store, riveted it to the pedal and the floor. When I fix my floor pans, if the little socket set up is too difficult to fab, or purchase, I will hinge it in again!!
