Sir Williams - brake rod length

Bill - found it , in my INTEREUROPE WORKSHOP MANUAL # 181, c.1972, published in England, by S. Hemley & Andy Hugh, on page 108

the long rod from the brake pedal to the piviot arm of the booster

is 369mm (14.52") [basic setting]

clearance (gap) of brake light switch to piviot arm of the booster

is 6 ...7mm ( 0.24 ...0.28" )

clutch pedal height compared to brake pedal height

can be +/- 3 mm (0.19") different

this information is NOT in the BMW Repair Manual

.....and I hate to mention this also - while we're

in the pedal box Groupe - but there is a pedal spring

installed length spec also - for both clutch and brake pedal springs.....

i'll try to add that in a day or so
